Welcome to part 4 of my "the road so far" recap of the journey designing and building a fully functional high performance recumbent motorcycle inspired by Kaneda's ride in "Akira" Sit back, relax and enjoy the trials, tribulations and creativity involved. This CX500 powered custom designed and built recumbent project will be the first fully functional high performance Akira inspired ride designed to exploit all the advantages of the recumbent platform while honoring Katsuhiro's Otomo's vision.

yeah they don't seem to have much interest in experimenting with or testing the platform. Big companies are generally quite conservative venturing into new categories / large variations in products. That's ok they leave the room for the little guys!
