I did a survey of the incidence of dementia in Sweden, by investigating the amount of copper in the soil for the various counties and found that the amount of copper in the soil (moraine) was inversely proportional to the incidence of dementia (NPI points). The occurrence is reduced by 75% if you have approx. 15 mg/Kg of soil compared to areas that have 5 mg/Kg of copper

When the body is desperate for trace minerals, it is often experiencing a deficiency in these essential micronutrients that are required in small quantities but play a crucial role in various physiological processes. Trace minerals include zinc, iron, copper, selenium, iodine, manganese, and others, each with its unique functions within the body. One of the most common signs of a trace mineral deficiency is persistent fatigue and weakness. These minerals are involved in energy production and utilization, so a shortage can lead to decreased energy levels, making everyday tasks feel more challenging than usual. Muscle cramps and spasms can also indicate a lack of trace minerals. Minerals like magnesium and potassium are vital for muscle function and nerve transmission. Inadequate levels of these minerals can lead to muscle contractions and discomfort. Another potential symptom is an irregular heartbeat or palpitations. Trace minerals like potassium, magnesium, and calcium play critical roles in maintaining the electrical activity of the heart. Insufficient levels of these minerals can lead to heart rhythm disturbances. Hair loss and brittle nails are often linked to trace mineral deficiencies, particularly zinc and biotin. These minerals are essential for healthy hair growth and nail strength. When they are lacking, hair may become thin and prone to breakage, and nails may become weak and brittle. A weakened immune system is also a possible sign of trace mineral deficiency. Minerals like zinc and selenium are known for their immune-boosting properties. Without sufficient levels of these minerals, the body's ability to fight off infections and illnesses may be compromised. In some cases, individuals may experience changes in their sense of taste or smell. Zinc, in particular, is crucial for maintaining a healthy sense of taste and smell. A deficiency can lead to reduced sensitivity in these senses. Other symptoms of trace mineral deficiency can include skin issues, like dryness and rashes, as well as impaired wound healing and poor cognitive function. It's important to note that these symptoms can be caused by various factors, and a deficiency in trace minerals is just one possibility. If you suspect that you may be deficient in trace minerals, it is essential to seek advice from a healthcare professional. They can conduct tests to determine your mineral levels and provide appropriate guidance on dietary changes or supplements if necessary. To prevent trace mineral deficiencies, it's essential to maintain a balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-rich foods. Foods like nuts, seeds, whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables are excellent sources of trace minerals and should be incorporated into your diet regularly. Remember, proper nutrition is key to overall health and well-being.

We got a soft water treatment system & it cuts out most of the minerals so I really need this info. My husband has been light headed recently here in FL while playing golf in the heat so I've been forcing him to drink pink salt but we may need more than this

I bet. The tap water in Florida is terrible. I think those systems use salt crystals to purify

@@mikelarry2602 Well this might explain why I get some headaches when I wake up lately even though I'm taking 2 large pinches of pink salt first thing in the morning plus some light cooking with it. So should we look for bulk pink salt?

While you were talking certain catch words really caught my attention. I've been reselling vintage glass recently. A lot of old dinner glasses and plates were made from Manganese and Selenium. Now you got me wondering if you can get small amount of the trace minerals from using these glasses and plates. I think I'm about to fall down a rabbit hole lol

250 for a book is ridiculous. Someone should do similar research and write a book and sell it for 25 bucks.
@SpamMouse Жыл бұрын
A book's price (and value) will depend upon the time and level of unique research that is required to compline the contents and then the expected sales, this is why academic books cost more than the dross for sale at the airport.

Lots of people disagree, but if mankind didn't think they were smarter than God, we wouldn't have all these ailments! HE gave us what we needed.😔 He even told us to let the soil rest, but that doesn't happen anymore.

You usually recommend arugula for leafy greens have you looked at dandelions? They are far more nutritious around 10x on average of all the vitamins and minerals for the same size serving and probably have far greater benefits. Of course there are other wild foods you can also eat like nettles which are also loaded with nutrients.
