She's so funny. Love Jerseys. She is going to go crazy when she gets let out on pasture where she can really run & play. Up where you are straw is the best bedding. Straw, not hay. Straw hollow so it traps air & she can fluff it up around her & sort of burrow in for warmth & when it gets wet it dries fast. It's also easier to clean up than saw dust. Also, those round bales are A LOT for a single mini cow. A LOT less waste if you just fed her from smaller bales or made a small bale feeder.

No snow in southern Idaho either. This old Alaskan is happy with that😂 Never had the homestead life but in Anchorage on a city park. Back in our day, not a lot of people and safe for the kids to wander as they liked outside. Just had to watch for moose lol

Jessica, just was wondering if Wyatt complains about back pain? He seems to lift several heavy items. It is so odd not seeing Aaron cleaning Peach's pen out. I miss his off key singing.....Ha. It’s only 16 degrees here in Ohio but supposed to be 50 degrees on Monday. Strange weather . I saw a dad teaching his 7 year old son how to load a tractor onto a trailer. It was so cool and he was so proud of himself ! Peaches is so beautiful . I have been using a rollator to walk since December 3 , they think it’s my sciatica I go for therapy next Monday . Hi Jessica and sweet family! Peaches is so dang cute. I miss having cows. I remember when we were kids and we would run across the pasture to get to the creek. To cross the creek my great grandfather put a 2x12 board. Once we crossed the board my great grandfather had a shed where my brothers, cousins and I carried all the sugar cane and my great grandfather had Becky the mule hooked up to the grinding wheel that he fed the sugar cane in. But that pasture had a mean bull and you should have seen us running across that pasture field carrying the sugar cane trying to beat that bull to the creek. I’m sure we looked like country bumpkins, lol. Here I have ranted on about old memories again. I really do miss my childhood, it was the best. I finally made it to the store today and started to buy a Christmas to send to you, but I was afraid it wouldn’t get there till after Christmas. I will have to send you a late one I guess. I’m sure Peaches is happy now she has a clean home with new hay. Good job Jessica and Wyatt. Wyatt is a great young man. I hope everyone has a very blessed evening. 🙏❤️
