Seems like they’re made of quicksilver (mercury). Metallurgy is a theme in this game. You have the golden lineage (doesn’t tarnish), the silver moon, the rot (red rust or oxidation), the crucible and impurities, the tarnished (bronze, brass and silver tarnish) and probably other examples.

when you create a character, you can choose the type "nightfolk", and there in the description it says "they were said to bleed silver long ago". Albinaurics are grey-skinned humanoids that bleed silver blood. I wonder if they are distant relatives or something like that?

One theory for why we see no Albinaurics in the Haligtree is that they're there, but unrecognizable. The Envoy enemies that patrol the boughs of the haligtree similarly bleed white, with rotund bodies similar to 2nd gen Albinaurics but seem to lack legs, as if 1st gen albinaurics somehow evolved to shed them like they were vestigial limbs. Oracle Envoy ashes say the beings are meant to herald the birth of a new god or new age. Since they're only found in leyndell and the haligtree. BUT, once you dig into the Oracle Envoys, you'll see links between them and the claymen through the claymen oracular bubble sorceries. Those sorceries state the claymen sorcerers served an ancient dynasty as priests. Clayman ashes state that the claymen are the warped remains of priests who sought revelation for an ancient dynasty. Judging by the location of all the claymen, this relates to the Nox yet again. And then there are the ants that also link the underground rivers and the haligtree. Their queens somehow drop Numen runes. Numens who are the same race as Marika and many of the black knives assassins AND a player character race. I don't even know how to explain the ants........

The ants most likely killed off the Numen. The Night Maidens ride the ants through hypnosis and they hate each other. It’s safe to assume the ants managed to overrun the Numen in the Haligtree Roots considering all other deep underground locations were claimed by the Numen.

Like it could be something like the Nox invented the process of creating them and then Rennala took up researching it further for her rebirthing magic. idk if thats the case, im just saying that i think its too early to say that someone or one group invented and created all of them

You can trace Rennala's history and/or roots all the way back to the Eternal Cities, and likely the Numen, who were probably ancestors of The Nox/etc. It seems after The Eternal City was destroyed, the remnants were displaced, but their practices carried over to some extent. Nearby The Mountaintops of Giants you have the Zamor, who are long lived, similar to the Numen, and known for going to war against The Giants. I think the reason for that is that the Giants Flame (of Ruin) also held the Crucible (of life), and so the Zamor have a history of wanting to achieve such capability. Especially after having most of their rarely born population destroyed. Nearby you have the Stargazers Ruin, where we find evidence of bloody ritual of ancient sorcerers cutting open their harts to imbue glintstones with their souls. Near here, the site of a painting where Rennala was bewitched by the Full Moon, and nearby Heretical Rise. Also nearby, you have Ordina, the Liturgical Town, where first generation Albinaurics are found. Unable to use their legs but masters of Archery and riding (Dire Wolves). When we help Latenna, we help her deliver a Drop of Life, which we can only assume will go towards future generations of Albinaurics. In this town we find Black Knives, who are master assassins whose misty (cold) sorcery veils their presence, and who slightly resemble the Zamor. From there we can go all the way to the Lunar Estate, where we find "moonfolk" ruins, and which just so happens to be above The Village of Albinaurics. The Cathedral of Manus Celes also has an altar similar to those found in the Eternal City. Nearby, we find the Lakes of Liurnia where a constant veiling mist is the home of many second generation Albinaurics. Perhaps their "aquatic" resemblances were the result of them being created for such an environment? And then we finally wind up at the Carian Manor, where we find artifacts such as the Sword of Night and Flame, that tells us the lore of the Astrologers calling the mountaintops their home, and the Fire Giants their neighbors. Hence the name. We also find trolls in service to the family, due to a pact made with Rennala. Perhaps the pact was to sever their eternal service to the Flame of Ruin? We also have Loretta, who would appear to be a first generation Albinauric in armor, to parallel that speculated journey. So if Rennala's life long journey was mirrored by efforts to create new life, then it makes sense that the absolved Radagon would give her a treasure such as the Amber Egg of Rebirth. And from that, and their union, we were finally given a rare perfect created life: Ranni. An Empyrean. (As a slight tangent to this theory, I think the Eternal Cities used to be home to the numen, and their rare births were related to their created nature. I think they were born from Primordial Dew, and possibly Amber Starlight, or something similar, which is why births were so rare. This could also suggest that The Greater Will usurped their process to create it's own Lord, by using their vessel to house it's Golden Star, The Elden beast, and the Elden Ring.)

Great job. Many people believe that the Lore of the From Software games is only extracted from the item descriptions and NPC dialogues and make their theories with only that in mind, but they don't realize that a lot of the Lore also has to be taken from the scenario (statues, place where objects are collected, location of enemies, etc). You connected the stage very well.

Albinauric in japanese is "Shirogane", something like "white silver". I think both Loretta and Gideon are a kind of Albinauric that we dont have info on. Both have red blood somehow, gideon uses his scepter as if he was trying to compensate the lack strenght on his legs or he stays on his chair. And he clearly has connections to the village of the albinaurics, as nepheli states she lived there and he was her stepfather. He somehow betrayed them, maybe to put his hands on the haligtree medalion. Loretta has this thing with bows and tried hard to find a safe haven for her kind, also descriptions suggest that she spent most of her time on her horse. Maybe they were given grace somehow and developed? Or maybe they are hybrids? Arent the white funny guys that play envoy horns albinaurics? I think she managed to rescue some of then.

I think Rennala created the Albinaurics…since she has all those Non walking folks during her battle, and they are all near there and she is obsessed with creating them. But a combo of both with Nox makes sense since you need larval tears to rebirth - but you only rebirth normal because of your great rune(spoiler …..when you give boc the larvel tear he is reborn broken). Ranni was born from egg too possibly by Radagon (empyrean).

I like the idea of the albinaurics having been made by the amber egg after studying the creations of the Eternal Cities. When used to rebirth humans, you get those weird children in Rennala's boss arena, and when used to rebirth a Silver Tear, you get a first generation albinauric But how are second generation albinaurics created? And where did the original Silver Tears come from? Maybe the answer is right in the name. Maybe they are literally TEARS that drop from the eyes of those giant dead/unconscious bodies in the Eternal Cities. And second generation albinaurics are born from the tears of first generation albinaurics So if that's the case, how do they create more first generation albinaurics, now that Rennala has lost her mind, and keep their people from going extinct? Well, maybe that's why they sought out Miquella in the first place! Using the power of the Haligtree, he created Philia, something of a replica of the giants in the Eternal City, a being whose tears can birth new first generation albinaurics... If we can help Latenna complete her quest and get back to her with the birthing droplet, of course

i personally believe the carian family are decedents of the nox, rennala’s skin is almost white and her ears have similar points to nightfolk, who seem inherently connected to the nox even though as far as i know we don’t see them other than as a player race, and the only direct similarity we see is the mimic tears. so i don’t know for sure but those are my thoughts.

I saw a video theorizing that rennala is not Rani biological mother since Rani is an empyrean born of one God. The theory is Ranni is/from the ember egg radagon left behind. In alchemy silver is associate with the moon as it's symbol, it's possible that Albinauric is a result of experiment to rebirth ranni using the ember egg and silver magic but like any other alchemy there sacrifice you make for a rebirth

The one god was radagon, the queen isn't one so it's still one god. The silver mimics were made (failure) to create a lord for the nox, that's why you see naked tarnished mimics attacking you. But the reborn again and again from Rennala and the dried silver husks do connect in some way

@@arya.n.8252 Empyrean are not specifically born from one God. An Empyrean primary purpose seems to be serving as a container for the power of Outer Gods. So,potentially,Ranni,Miquela and Malenia are born with this potency so far. Now,born from a single God probably is one way to be Empyrean,but not the only way. Ranni says that she was choosen by her Two Finger as a candidate to be a vessel for Queen Marika,but the reason is not clear ( but probably the Amber Egg Rennala holds). There are some weird stuff about this not gonna lie. For example its stated that an Empyrean have a shadow, Ranni have Blaidd,Marika have Maliketh,but so far we did'nt see Miquela or Malenia having shadows like that.

Do you think the Oracle Envoys are possibly related to Albinaurics? I know they are meant to herald a new age, thus are found in Leyndell and the Haligtree since those are the two locations most likely to lead to said new age, but something about them also feels like they are artificial life, somehow. That coupled with them being at the fringes of the Haligtree, located among the branches, could point to some kind of connection? I just wanted to bring them up since they are a pretty mysterious group of entities, and they were not mentioned in the video at all. As for the origins of the Albinaurics, I am inclined to agree that they were created by the Carians based off of research and knowledge gleaned from the Eternal cities and their own experimentation on artificial life with the mimic tears, there are too many connections to ignore. That coupled with the fact that the Albinuaric village is located right underneath the moonlit altar, and the fact that they were implied to have been made to combat holy magic, therefore the Ertree's Golden Order, makes me feel like they may have even been part of Ranni's direct designs, though of course they may go further back in Carian history and are linked to Rennala as well. I think it's worth noting the geography as part of the environmental storytelling, to be sure. Great video as usual! I think Loretta in particular has such a fascinating implied journey, it was great seeing her brought up in a lore video! All the best, and keep up the great work!

I think he's of albinaric decent and for whatever reason betrayed them. Maybe he was looking for the medallion we get from Albus and maybe Gideon failed to find the medallion because Albus was hidden as a pot? So he just slaughtered the whole village trying to find it? I think the Albinauric are a product of the Carians. They always can be found where Carians are, Villa Volcano included. Moreover, their name means 'beings of white gold'. It's like who made them wanted to avoid using the word 'silver', which only makes sense coming from the Carians (inside the Golden Order), rather than from the Nox (proud enemies of the Erdtree). Finally, with all the connections to the Amber Egg of the Unborn, it may also be that Radagon's amber is the 'gold', while the silver tear component the 'white' in their name. Never underestimate the importance of a given name, imho.

I kinda feel like the whole Carian Royal Family is albinaurics,first generation (or even like 0 generation) that is.What do we know about albinaurics? They have high affinity with magic,they cant walk and have silver blood. Now,we dont know if Ranni can walk or not,because she is dead,but Rennala unable to walk (her bossfight second phase is an illusion by Ranni,first phase and after the fight she sits,during the fight flies and hit the ground unable to move without magical powers). Loretta is questionable,we dont see her walk,but she ride a horse (also first gens are able to ride wolves). The item description of her shield says:"The shape is said to imitate that of a sacred drop of dew, which inspired the absurd rumor that Loretta herself was an Albinauric." I dunno,the word "absurd" sounds like the Carian Royals try to hide that they are albinaurics,but secretly they care about them. Also the Albinaurics village is basically between Raya Lucaria and the Carian Manor.In the Manor,are only one NPC,Pidia,who are probably also albinauric. Also,the game is really big about the duality of Gold (grace ,erdtree,the whole Greater Will) and Silver (night,the Eternal Cities,Moon,Ranni's connection the the Eternal Cities etc) , and how the albinaurics are rejected from the Erdtree,and how Ranni's quest basically rejects the Greater Will and embracing the Age of Moon,i think its quite possible. In the case of the 2nd gens in Mohgwyn,i think they tried to find the way to the Haligtree,but gone a wrong way.Maybe the 2nd gens dont have the mental capacity to follow the way like Latenna and the first gens do,or simply gone to a wrong teleport lol.At Mohgwyn they simply succumbed to Mohg and the Formess Mother ( they have red blood again,and when they use blood abilities they look like in pain,but maybe i see too much into it),but IMO they are not there willingly.

Looks like the unaltered Banished Knight Armor & Helmet. The armor can be farmed off of the Banished Knight Ghost wearing the blue cape in Castle Sol. The helmet (the one with the scarf) should be farmable off of any Banished Knight that you can see the red scarf on.

If you look at the name Albinauric it literally means "White Gold." This becomes very important when considering the nature of souls in this universe. Souls are golden in this universe as they are all influenced by the Erdtree which is basically a placeholder for Alchemical Sol. The process of creating white Gold in traditional metallurgy is to replicate Platinum. This inherently infers that whomever made Albinaurics was attempting to create a "Platinum soul" which would have been a powerful soul at the very least. One might say a platinum soul would be nearly godlike. However, they used Silver and mixed it with Gold, possibly in the Crucible (per it's namesake), thus instead of finding secrets to Godly Platinum instead made inferior Gold, tainted with Silver. This would also explain why the Golden Order sees the Albinaurics as tainted as their souls are mixed with Silver. While the Golden Order venerates Sol, it persecutes Luna and Luna's color is Silver. Part of me wants to believe that Miquella has such an interest in Albinaurics due to their amazingly high poison and rot resistance, obviously trying to use this info to medicate his cursed sister, Malenia.

Forgot to add, Albinaurics have a knack for glintstone sorcery because it deals with a similar domain of theirs. Loretta proves that if an albinauric is taught glintstone, they take to it rapidly if not profusely. Glintstone is the amber of the cosmos, in such case I think it may also be predominantly the amber of the moon.

Yes, this rumor sounds absurd because how can a weakling albinauric who is being looked down all the time become a renowned Knight? I speculate that the rumor was being made by the Albinaurics themselves and those who held the belief that it was indeed an absurd one might have been Carian people in the manner or others. I suspect We can't take every word in the descriptions or dialogues as granted like that. For example Malenia tells you that she's waiting for Miquella's "Return." Return from what? Does she know that Mohg has kidnapped Miquella and also that she doesn't have problems with that? Or based from observation that she's blind and she's been in a deep sleep, we speculate she simply doesn't know that Miquella is no longer there?
