I wish they made all their grips in polymer. I bought an ace socom carry 320 and put it on my .40 slide, after 2 mags it was almost too hot to hold. Looks cool AF though. I couldn’t imagine doing anything serious with a gun that gets that hot that fast. I’ve since swapped the slide for a 9mm ported Norsso and went back to the Wilson Combat grip which personally feels much better at less than a third the cost. To each their own. There’s a major movement back to aluminum/steel frame nowadays. Funny how the trends in firearms are always changing. Another great video!

@@yahhman That was my experience with the Icarus but I went out and shot the Wilson Combat grip this morning and it was fine. No excessive heat at all.

I got a Strike Industries grip module and Mag Guts for 2 12 round mags to pair up with a new FCU and my old X macro ported slide with the FDEZ 3.1" ported barrel (Spectre Comp). I currently have the FDEZ Fuse on my Icarus Air. I'm extremely intrigued with the SXG or a Shalotec XXL frame and a gas pedal trigger guard. My Sharps Bro's X Macro grip is a little too wide and bulky, but I think it would be good with winter wear open carry. I've also been looking at the Evo XXL. I'll make up my mind by January, lol

I just used the Oem mag release and no magwells as of yet but we offer a top 5 port that flattens recoil

Skip, as for that bump on the back of the Icarus frames, would you compare it to the CZ or 1911 frames..? For me the S2 grip with beaver tail is so comfortable and makes handling the gun so nice.

I’d say a xl slide and pmm barrel comp with a Icarus xl lower recoil kit and my trigger job with an eps full-size is the build u need.
