lets see it work. it has the motor mass to take 2000... at least 1500rms all day. put this thing to work with 1500 for a whole hour, then carry it up to 2000 and see if it will last. if u had access to one of those infrared coil temp sensors, it would help too. i think exo has them in his subs. to keep track of their temps.

They have a different sound when it comes to playing deep bass. I have 4 15" hdc3, 2 mtx 9500 15s, and 2 12 skar vxf. They all sound different. The hdc3 will get loud and deep, but not as deep as a Sundown x. Some people will disagree but numbers don't lie. At the lower hertz numbers the Sundown zv4, zv5, and x put up higher numbers below 32hz.

Too Shmart if you’re trying to get two ohms it should be positive to positive and negative to negative. You can either jumper form one terminal to the other And then to the corresponding terminal on the box or you can take both positive leads from the sub and go the the positive terminal on the box. Same for negative. Either way will drop the impedance down to 2 ohms

It looks like a cool driver but I think similar to the Skar DNR they are shooting a little outside of there target demographic. People spending close to $300 on an SPL sub are gunna start wanting name brands. It's competing with Resilient Gold, Wolfram AG, etc. Just like the DNR sells so little because it's competing with the Sundown NSv4 and Resilient Team series, etc.

You do realize that you cant CEA rates sub right. This is the silliness that Rockville does to boost sales. CEA ratings apply to amps that's it. It's a standardized system of rating power output to make equal comparisons of competing products. The CEA rates 2000 watts RMS sub means squat. Just for bt our knowledge bud. So I am currently running a rockville db15 and love it..its paired with a nvx vcw dual 4 wired down to 2ohm.. I would love to upgrade to either the destroyer 12 or skar vxf 12 dual 4.. but unfortunately my amp is only 2ohm stable which would mean the destroyer would need to be wired in series for a 4ohm load but idk if the amp would be capable and don't want to have to upgrade again. What do you guys suggest

It should be fine I'm just saying though cause I have 2 kickers CVR DVC 4 ohms subs wired in series to 8 ohms and bridged to a 2 channel 1600.2 amp mini 4 ohm load bridged 2 ohms capable the amp but connected 1 sub to each channel. I need to upgrade my electrical system so that I can put a different amp I have that's way better than what I'm using right now where I could wire the subs to 2 ohms
