My old Suzuki Samurai (Gypsy) in India is one of the most versatile and tough vehicles around. Easy to maintain and cheap to run too. But Suzuki are not yet launching this lovely new Jimny in India and I really cannot understand why not. It is the natural successor to the Gypsy.

@Off Road Guy I have a Thar also. But the Gypsy is about half the weight of the Thar. That gives it a huge advantage in steep and rough terrain.

All of the units you can't sell in the UK because of emission standards, bring to Canada. We'll take them all. This was built for our country and climate but you won't sell it here. Come on Suzuki, partner up with Toyota and get it done.

Just ordered one! All black auto and managed to gain free mats - mudflaps and roof rack (full) its perfect for New Zealand as a cheep run around. but i have to wait 5 months. or pick a different colour.

5 months is nothing this time ,i bought him 3 months after new presenting by Suzuki, they told me ,in different Colors or Automatik Gearbox i have to wait 1 Year ! ! ! I bought Jungle Green with Manual Gearbox, get him after 4 months ( 2018 - 2019 ) after delivering the Market collapsed

I travelled for construction work in indo Myanmar border mountain roads where military trucks only travelled during monsoon creating ruts.Only other vehicle which could go in those ruts was Indian jimny also called gypsy.I am waiting for this new jimny, I am going to get one😋

Not available in EU anymore, because of the emissions. You can sell 5.7 HEMI Rams, 5.5-litre G-wagons - those are OK, but not the Jimny...

JB64雪道で乗ったことある人にしかわからんが 地吹雪が酷い地帯で60㎞/hで走行するような使い方だとメインがハロゲンランプでも融雪が間に合わない LEDヘッドランプにウォッシャーがあったからってこれでは自殺行為に等しいので、HIDに変えた方が良き なにがこんなこと招いてるかってヘッドランプの形状なんだよね　雪や雪が解けた水が溜まっていくようになっているので、その点をMCで改良してほしいな

All cars were subjected to all kinda of rigorous testing. Something the dealers didnt tell you, at what extent. They only got to be taken care the most when they were bought by their owners. That ia why buying brandnew cars dont require break-in, cause theyre already tested and certified. Unlike motorcycles or anything on two wheels, where your the first to ever hop-on and riden it for the first time.

Cheval Nektosha actually its rating of fuel consumption = excellent, I don’t think it’s due emissions but the factory ships limited J-cars to each country / markets in Arabian Gulf we need to book for it in advance in Kuwait & Dubai it may take up to 6 months to receive your new car .. so maybe it’s more about demand + shortages

EU Emissions regulations (not fuel consumption) meant that Suzuki stood to be penalized across their whole range. Not for lack of demand, here in UK used vehicles are being advertised for sale for more than the listed new price!
