Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZbin, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZbin. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZbin, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

I bought this album (Eat A Peach) in 72. This is one of the really good songs that demonstrate how Duane could put an amazing lead against a simple three chord tune. My poor neighbors had to put up with me playing this with the volume maxxed out.

Throughout the lives of people that follow music, no matter the genre, there will be pieces that become instant favorites. Some of those are forgotten as the years roll on, but some sit atop and always remain there. I first heard this song on FM radio while washing dishes at my first job back in 1972. From that night forward, it has remained at the top of my favorites and influenced my love of incredible guitar work ever since. Whenever I hear this come on, from my personal playlist or from somewhere else, (a reaction!), I have to stop what I'm doing and trip through the incredible guitar solos. The fact is, the Eat a Peach album produced more great tunes that caught my ear back in '72. The song, One Way Out has always battled along with Blue Sky to be at the top of my favorites list. Better check that one out.

Brother, you've been on a roll lately with your song selections. But to be fair, you've been doing pretty good from the start. Back in the 70s I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. It's still one of the sweetest guitar solos I've ever heard. Do yourself a favor and add the Eat A Peach album to your music collection. One of my favorite albums by any artist. My favorite Allman Brothers song is on it, "Ain't Wasting Time No More".

Been listening to the Allman brothers since 1971. I was 15. Bought all of their albums. Duane Allman and Dickie Betts are just a dynamic duo. This song by Dickie is one of my favorites. It's a song that if you're feeling stressed out by school or work? Just go find an open field with friends ( as I did) smoke a joint and let your troubles melt away. It is a very happy feel good song.

Have you done any other Allman Bros? Take any one of the songs off side one of Live at the Fillmore East (1971). They will knock your socks off with Southern blues/rock, and Duane's slide guitar. Then for the best exposition of Greg's voice, check out their earlier song Not My Cross to Bear.

The Live at SUNY recording with Duane is worth listening to for it's historic value ( I have the CD . The performance & recording are raw but I still love this historic value of that recording) a nice cleaner Live version can be found on the "First Set" Live recording done with the Warren Haynes / Allen Woody era of the band from the 1990's .. There is also a Video of that era of the band performing it on "Live at Great Woods"

I saw them at the Boston Commons in 1971, a few months before Duane died. Among the best concerts I've ever seen. And one of the tightest bands I've ever seen live. I love all their stuff, but their blues most of all, although this one is my favorite among their rock songs". It's hard to pick a favorite among the blues they did, probably, "Whipping Post". I always thought of them a primarily a blues band and one of the best blues bands of all time!

Love this song and The Allman Brothers. You should check out the song "Melissa". It was Duanes favorite Gregg song. The story goes Gregg had sold the copyright to it when the band was broke and unknown to Gregg their manager was able to get the copyright back and the song was added to the Eat a Peach album that was released just after Duane died in a motorcycle accident.
