Nintendo should feature more dark indie games or make some darker ones of their own. The premise of this game made me think it might be a big/ open world or direct kind of game but guess not. There’s a gold mine here and Nintendo just has to see it!

2020 2106 true but I mean games like Inmost. Imagine a game like inmost (search it if you don’t know) but with BOTW style gameplay. Exploration, a good meaningful story - these mini games that Nintendo makes/promotes could be so much more - Nintendo could appeal to a greater audience if they actually made some purposeful games (besides Mario zelda etc. of course) I think what I mean to say is they should expand on the darker genre and when they do, it should be big and not confined to super childish games like good job and this one right here. I only have 5 games on the switch and all five are their best sellers - if they made more games like those I could have twice that amount! I had at least 12 games on PS3 bc they came out w several big good games and not little ones that don’t last a long time. (Tl;dr: Nintendo should make/promote larger games that fit a darker genre that will last years to come and shouldn’t be limited to mini games such as the one in the trailer.)

i just finished this game, so so so cool. i got it because it reminded me of monument valley the mobile game, and that same mysterious/horror/puzzle/storytelling type combo is exactly this. there were parts that were thrilling slightly, and calming, and satisfying. its really worth the low price, doesnt take too long to playthrough completely, and supports indie developers so i would totally get it. i didn't know where else to leave my review lol i came across this trailer (which might i add is realistic to gameplay) while looking for other ppls interpretation of the story

just found the demo of this on the eshop and I can already tell just from the trailer that I'm gonna love it :D say what you will about nintendo (yea, they definitely have their faults) but their wide range of + support for independent games is seriously refreshing ! you can scroll thru the eshop and find the most interesting titles for about 1/5 the price of a "big" game, and 9 times out of 10 you will get a totally original and innovative experience that you would have a very difficult time replicating elsewhere. some of the very best storylines, soundtracks, art styles, etc. in games i've played have all came from games like this. plus you get the comfort of knowing that you're supporting up-and-coming independent game developers --which typically consists of a young + small team of /actual/ game lovers with limited resources who are all working to create and follow their dreams-- instead of a big chain company with the typical old out of touch executives who only follows the trends of already successful games, or just pumps out a bunch of sequels that all follow the same exact formula without making any legit innovations, and the sole focus being how to maximize profit instead of player satisfaction *cough cough* EA *cough* woops, got distracted. anyways. support indie games more! and if anyone actually reads this entire thing i'll be shocked 💀
