It happened. Just like they always joke about I zoned out, went to grab some tea and came back zoned back in and all I heard was wildly off topic. Wildly confusing: "That's BDSM Jamp and that should stay within the confines of your own bedroom."

I think a part of why criminals are still likely to commit a crime after being released is also bc of how ex-convicts are treated, most notably that it's harder to get a job after they're released. but also the jail environment is bad bc of what corry explained and bc they aren't able to better themselves in that environment. iirc, there are studies that show that when criminals are treated with respect and offered mental health support, the rate of repeat offenses lowers. which... kinda seems obvious tbh but ya know

but also people may be in a worse environment outside of prison, homeless even, so at least prison has hot water, a bed and food

I think the best way to put the difference between the human ideas of being an "alpha", and that of animal's (who have that system), is that animals usually understand their position in the pack comes with responsibility. Yes, they can be the biggest and the strongest, but they also need to use that strength for the good of their pack.

I think you can use the pack description when wolves hunt or defend themselves- pack strategy. The social unit you can deem a family.

Speaking of quantum mechanics, I'm a psi male ... because ... you can represent me as a linear combination of vectors taken from a complete orthonormal set?

don't slander pigs!!! they're kind and intelligent!! use better metaphors, like parasite, slime, etc. pigs are "dirty" only in captivity, so make what you will with that.

I'm nonbinary agender, so I would be a phi male because Φ represents the null set, and I exist completely outside these typologies.

I wouldn't say the hosts of this podcast are likable. I'd choose the word affable. Likable would still be a good description, but not the word I'd choose to use ;) In other words, 5/5
