The Alternate Jurassic Park Ending We Never Got To See - THE LOST WORLD

Here I go over an alternate version of the ending to The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Where Steven Spielberg would have done the T.rex in the city scenes with very different story beats explaining what happened to some of the characters like Vince Vaughn's Nick Van Owen and even Roland Tembo. Some of this ended up being used but a lot of it was pretty different. Hope you all enjoy! :D

I can’t tell if I’m happy with the ending they went with over this alternative. The idea of Kelly and Sarah trying to evade the Rex in Sarah’s house/apartment complex could’ve been amazing but only if done well. I have no idea if a Rex is physically capable to tearing down entire walls of a complex, so maybe with that in mind I’m glad they went with the ending they did in the final result. It always bothered me Ban Owen and Kelly just disappeared for that entire part of the movie, but like it was said in this video, it’s a lot to fit into 121 pages and a final finished movie.

I don't think a T Rex would have trouble tearing down apartment building walls. I lived in an older apartment building from the 60's or 70's and thin walls, all wood on the frame I could've knocked down walls with a sledge hammer haha, I don't think I big ass T Rex would have much trouble. Besides back then houses and buildings were built better than they are in more modern times like the 90's so even if it was new or old I don't think such a huge creature would have trouble with one layer of bricks held together by old mortar. But I agree it would have had to been done right. There are a lot of ways they could've messed that up.

It's still a wild animal. Take any wild animal and the sheer amount of foreign lights and sounds would overwhelm it.

@@kariverson1 exactly. Especially predators. Despite popular belief they are not all powerful or fearless. Anything new will actually be frightening to a predator that never experienced it before and it would at least approach with EXTREME caution. Lions reacted like this when a man literally did not run from them, this confused them and they suddenly looked very unsure of what to do because- the prey is not running. That’s not normal.

Klayton, I have been a fan of your work for a long time now. Could you please do a video or series of videos covering the many in-film goofs and bloopers form the movies? One of my personal favorite goofs is the Bull being lowered into the raptor pen in the first movie. When the harness comes up, its torn, but there aint no blood, guts or anything of the bull remaining. Just an clean, shredded harness. (I guess to keep it somewhat PG-13, but then we see a goats leg on the roof of the car in the T-Rex breakout. Even that leg mysteriously disappears in later in that scene)

Hey Klayton, can I through out an idea for a fun video you could do? Cover how you would do a remake of Jurassic Park, more faithful to the books, like an HBO miniseries. How long should it be. What would be the big episode breaks? Fan cast the roles (so an older Alan, 20 year old Ellie, balding Ian, tiny evil Walt Disney Hammond, so on)... and even give us ideas of what characters who never made it to the screen would look like/be played by. So Ed Regis, for example, or Dr. Marty. I would love to see your take on this and see how it compares to my and other people's visions of what a modern Jurassic Park miniseries could look like.

It’s been a while since you’ve been touching on The Lost World Jurassic Park but instead focusing on either Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous or Jurassic World Dominion which seems really impressive and amazing and keep it up with your video Klayton Fioriti and nice story of this abandoned scene from The Lost World Jurassic Park which should’ve been used in the movie and it would’ve work really better but that’s just me. I would so much like to see these scenes in Jurassic World: Dominion or also in the series Camp Cretaceous; -with in addition to Allan Grant (Sam Neill), Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), Ian Malcom (Jeff Goldblum) and Barry Sembène (Omar Sy), the return of Tim Murphy (Joseph Mazzello), Alex Murphy (Ariana Richards), Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore), Kelly Malcom (Vanessa Lee Chester), Nick Van Owen (Vince Vaughn); -Rexy and/or other tyrannosaurus like Junior the young T-rex from "The Lost World Jurassic Park", fighting and defeating the similar Spinosaurus to that of JP3 in the midst of many terrified people fleeing the fight full of crash and destruction. And after defeating the Spinosaurus, the T-rex roared victoriously like at the end of Jurassic Park under the gaze of many people. -But especially no dying tyrannosaurs and no killed T-rex. -If a new Tyrannosaurus rex is added, I will want it to be directly based on the old concept from the Jurassic Park movie: miniurl.be/r-3ch5 ; -If there is a fight between the giganotosaurus and the T-rex, I especially want the T-rex not to be killed, nor to die, nor to be defeated. -this deleted scene: T-rex Buck from "The Lost World Jurassic Park" poking his head through Benjamin's bedroom window and scaring his family; -I would also like to see these extended scenes: like the T-rex Buck terrorizing and chasing people, also wreaking havoc in San Diego until he senses his offspring; -this unused scene: like Tyrannosaurus Buck waking up and killing the crew of the ship S.S.
