it's not really an alternate version of him but one of my favorites is Buried Alien. For those of you who don't know, A few years after Barry Allen's Death in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Marvel published Quasar #17, it featured a race with all the speedsters of the Marvel universe competing to be named the fastest man alive but it was hijacked by a man with long blonde hair and wearing a tattered red and yellow suit who ended up winning the race, when asked what his name was he replied "not sure, Buried Alien, something like that" he then took up the name Fastforward, wearing a new costume with the same color scheme. as far as I know he was never seen again

How do different speedsters get different color lightning? In season 2 of Flash, it says Velocity-9 changes the color of the lightning to blue, but Reverse Flash's lightning is red. At first (before I knew about V-9) I thought it was the lightning details on the Flash's costume, but it is not. Can you explain this?

Flash is cool and all but how does being doused in chemicals then struck by lightning suddenly creates a whole dimension which can make people travel through time, give people super speed abilities and somehow exist outside of time and space It would make more sense if the speed force existed already but Barry was the first speedster to tap into it while other speedsters only have their super speed because they are metahumans
