Normal azelaic acid makes my skin itch (unless I apply it at least 30 min after cleansing), but I've found that the derivative (potassium azeloyl diglycinate) doesn't irritate my skin! I've really been enjoying using the Naturium Azelaic Acid 10% Serum for this reason. It's clear, so lightweight, perfect for my super oily skin. And it also contains niacinamide, vitamin c, and caffeine, so I love that I can use all those ingredients in one step.

Yes I’ve heard great things about their derivative serum! Sounds super promising and amazing alternative for people like yourself who’s skin becomes sensitive with standard AzA. Glad it’s working for youths super jealous you can buy Naturium 🤣🥰

It helped me a lot with rosacea but be very careful, as it can sting in the begging and can be drying. My skin needed a week or two to get used to it.

Hi Adam, I recently discovered your channel, and I’ve been binging on your videos and learning so much from you, while really enjoying your presentation style and sweet personality. You have a way of putting people at ease and making us feel like we have known you for a long time. I also really like that you have combination skin as well. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge and passion with us. I have a question. As mentioned I have combination skin, and I also have enlarged pores and can be prone to blackheads. As a result I avoid heavy cream based moisturizers and lean more towards gel and water creams. I’m in my middle 40s, so also concerned about anti-aging as well. I don’t really have acne issues. All that said can you recommend a couple serums and moisturizers for me? I would be immensely grateful. Thanks! Sending you respect, love and appreciation. Thanks! 🙏🏼✨❤️

hi adam,what are the best products for textured skins?
@AdamRobertLamb3 жыл бұрын
To sort out textured skin I always seem to go for exfoliating acids as a first point of call. Depending on your skin type then Glycolic, Lactic or Mandelic acid are really good but also Salicylic Acid is a game changer 🙌
@Tea033 жыл бұрын
I’ve just started the revolution anti blemish boost cream. It’s so grainy it’s like an exfoliant or face scrub. I’m also prescribed 20% azelaic acid cream which I put underneath the revolution cream as it’s very drying. Should these 2 be used together?

Hi Adam Can I find azilaic acid at boots or superdrug store?
@anastasiazazulina61113 жыл бұрын
Hi, Adam! Azelaic acid is amazing! I definitely rely on it so much! And as you said, it won’t show immediate results, but for me personally it helps so much to tolerate other actives (like tretinoin). So maybe you don’t notice, than you use it, but definitely notice if you stop! And it’s also marathon, for me I need to use it consistently for couple of months morning and night to see the benefits). I’m team 15%, it’s a shame that it is so hard to find! I’m also using Facetheory now, but after it I’m going to try a French pharmacy brand I found) So always on a hunt for a good azelaic acid product ☺️ thanks for you video))

@@kae2678 azelaic acid can cause some tingling and redness at the beginning, so I suggest you start with one active at a time and build up the tolerance. You can use azelaic acid twice a day.

@AdamRobertLamb3 жыл бұрын
Hey! So from what I can find from credible sources, you can use Azelaic Acid alongside retinoids. So this should be ok, as even though Adapalene is classed as a next generation retinoid, it isn’t the strongest xx

With the Face Theory with 15%, did you actually see less improvement than the 10%, or was it just about the same progress and you’d hoped for more?
@AdamRobertLamb3 жыл бұрын
I think I just hoped for more in a shorter amount of time which just made me realise that higher actives aren’t the be all and end all of skincare. I think Face Theory product is still amazing but I didn’t see any noticeable differences to a 10% concentration xxx
