When people get curology, 90% of the time it’s the same concentration of azaleic acid, niacinimide, and clindimycin. Once I heard of azaleic acid’s antimicrobial properties, I ditched curology for The Ordinary azaleic acid and The Inkey List niacinimide. It was WAY cheaper and worked better, what a win! Plus the bottles are recyclable unlike Curology.
@Monicalala4 жыл бұрын
LMG 88 yes, the Ordinary one is 10%, but Curology is just 4%

I thought most people got Curology for the tretnoin prescription. But I guess it can be a mixture of whatever actives you need.
@renee33564 жыл бұрын
Oh cool....thanks for the info on Curology. I get WAY too many ads from them lol, but always thought it was an interesting concept of individualized specific skincare medication. Good to know what it actually is (overpriced & unnecessary).
@ashleyjohnston92824 жыл бұрын
Renee B. One big advantage of curology is they do offer tretinoin as an option to be added to the formula, which is nice when you can’t afford to go to a dermatologist (I live in the US and it’s extremely expensive to get a prescription for that) I agree that the concentrations of other actives in Curology aren’t that impressive.

katgirlblue - no I don't, a few months ago I switched from adapalene to tretinoin. I still use azelaic acid and niacinamide in every routine together with tretinoin

I would love to hear what you think of solid package free skincare and hair care products! I’ve been wanting to lower my impact on the environment by going plastic and package free but as of right now all those items seem to be linked with the “clean” and “natural” beauty trends and it’s been difficult to find any without essentials oils and fragrance 😞 there also seems to be a lack of occlusives and humectants in moisturizes but I still don’t know enough about that formulation to personally feel comfortable switching over to them right now. The brand i’m most interested in is Ethique because they have fragrance free versions of their shampoo, conditioner, a solid cleanser and even a solid moisturizer. Really any updated tips or suggestions on sustainability in skincare is something i think myself and many others would be interested in 🥰🌎

I agree! It really does not work well together with any other product and does not work together with makeup or foundation at all... And it is not moisturising enough to work on its own. Really a frustrating product that could use some reformulation...

I mix two drops of the Ordinary niacinmide serum with a pea sized amount of the Azelaic acid and it goes on so so much better without pilling.

It may be pilling because of the type of moisturizer you may be using with it or unless it's pilling by itself

Can you use Azelaic acid with adapolene or should they be used seperate like on a rotation? BTW. Cerave came out with a new cleanser. It's a creamy to foam cleanser. I'd love to hear your review on it. 🤗❤🙌

My step daughter has suggested your allergic reaction could be due to grasses? She has the same reactions as you every time grass is cut.

Dr. Dray you don't need to worry abt elapsed time to do oil change. It only matters what kind of oil you used, dependent on that you can drive 3k miles if you use regular oil, or 5K if you use synthetic oil. Allergy this year is really bad from May 2020 ughh.

Yah, I resisted the sweats but they looked so cozy. I should get them. Also, the desk looks really amazing. I have one at my real life work and it’s great.

Azealic acid helpful at all for small broken capillaries? I'm guessing it doesn't probably penetrate deep enough. I have a small cluster on the apples of my cheeks and it's really bothersome, psychologically. Please let me know. Thank you
