This is accurate information, BUT what I want to know is WHEN to take it. Different sites say different things. Some say it's ok to take everyday, some say to only take it from the start of ovulation to the first day of your period, because your body needs a "break" every month. I'm really confused. And also I read if your taking it and then all of a sudden your symptoms come back to stop for a month or 2. That happened to me so I stopped, but after 10 days my symptoms came back. Ugh... I'm back to taking it twice a day. I wish I could find the correct answers

@@5325bunny I have the "Gaia Herbs" brand and it says *"Adults take 2 capsules daily in the morning. Best results obtained with long-term use".* I don't know the brand you have or have tried, but the instruction on the one I have is very straight forward. I think some people out there taking breaks during their period, but that's not what the brand I have instructed so I keep going. I plan to break from it after 6 months then if need be, go again. I think people taking breaks based on their own personal choice and confusing the public with that information. The vitex helps to balance your hormones. I had irregular periods and my doctor put me on the depo because the birth control tablets made me worse. After coming off the injection, my cycle narrowed down from a 7 day irregular to a 5 day regular of seeing it every 21 days but the bleeding was still heavy. Since I started the vitex 2 months now, it has cut down my period to 4 days, change it every month but it listens my flow. Don't take it while u r menstruating. Try a bottle and u can do your research. Buy the nature's way and follow what the bottle says.

Tasha H How long were you on the Depo? I was for only a year an it messed me all up. I was told long period of use it can cause infertility, so honestly I would go get your levels checked etc like I did!

SusieQ hello I was on it for seven years. I stopped about two years ago because I got married and my husband and I wanted to try and have a baby. I was told it’s different for everyone as far as getting ur period back. Some takes less then a year some a lil linger. I then started researching different ways to bring back my period after doing a couple different things the doctor had me do. I then came across vitex. I started taking it December 3 and have been taking it ever since. I started seeing spotting and then a lil more as I continue taking it. Im not sure if it’s helping bout I can tell you before I started taking it I didn’t have no hope. Now I do.

Tasha H This is amazing to know your having spotting, because that means it’s doing what it’s suppose to do. When I got my period back a year later I was bleeding so heavy I needed a blood transfusion, because I was in mine for two months an losing so much blood at once. Actually ur wrong. No reason to silence the H. Most people do cuz they think its the way ur supposed to pronounce. I ask u why should we not pronounce the H? And dont say " cuz thats how i always heard it"
