I've seen the show nearly 40 times since 1987 with more than 30 excellent Phantoms and Christines. These two are amazing together, best chemistry between Phantom and Christine. Ramin is definitely among the best Phantoms ever, top 5 probably among more than 150 excellent performers. But Sierra is by far the very best Christine that I've ever seen.

@@cathrinewitty6749 It's very hard for me to choose between Michael Crawford, Dave Willetts and Peter Karrie. John Owen Jones would follow right afterwards and then Ramin Karimloo and Colm Wilkinson. Having said that, performers like Hugh Panaro, Anthony Warlow, Ben Lewis and Peter Joback are also amazing. So the above mentioned names would be my top10.

One of the things I love about PONR is how every Christine actress plays it a bit differently as to when exactly she realizes it’s the Phantom. I think Sierra’s Christine realized it early on when he copped a feel on her and she jumped away. I think she knew then and decided to turn the tables on his little seduction game and get back at him, and she sorta became drunk on her own power over him for a moment, as this is the only moment in the show where Christine has power over him. That mischievous twinkle in her eye and trying to make him squirm was deliberate on her part I personally believe, but she snapped back to reality when she felt his mask and remembered what was happening, I think she more scared herself. Christine didn’t want to be bait to catch him but Raoul guilt tripped her into it, and I don’t believe she wanted him caught and definitely not killed, she was scared of how crazy he had gotten but he was still her Angel at the end of the day, and the only reason she removed his hood I believe was because he was trying to drag her away again.
