Only job I've ever encountered that has not one, not two, but three required certifications (gun permit, guard permit, and permit to carry a gun as a guard, each a separate class, each a separate fee (paid around $350 in fees($100 for permit class, 70 for the permit, 25 for FBI fingerprinting, 75 for the guard card ( and to top that I got to take the class for free but it normally costs around $80), and 75 for the class 1 certification that let me carry on duty)) that paid for dog shit. It's a shame the job is so easy and fun, but absolutely not worth doing.
