Really pretty piece. The bay north of the canal was really catching some wave action against the rocks. Really liked this one.

I finally caught her in Marquette today. Yesterday it was windy and cold there but I had the honor of seeing the Lee Tregutha and the James Oberstar side by side at the dock again. ❤ I was shocked how cold it was but then again it’s the last days of October on Lake Superior. 🥶

I haven't seen the Lee Since April! Last time she was in my "area" was July up at Silver bay. Indeed the weather is now changing!

@ she’s been coming to Marquette regularly. Which I find it to be an honor. She was empty (in ballast?) the other day so she definitely was huge. And it was amazing to see she still was 13 feet below the water line. Wow. It made a beautiful photo and video opportunity.

Even I wouldn't argue with the name decision, entirely appropriate. Nice video.

WOW nice extra radio chatter, nice salute and wave action. Looked like the water in the canal was high. Thanks Paul

So how much fuel can they hold and what do they burn an hour?
@PaulScinocca29 күн бұрын
Great Question, my guess is 150,000-200K Gallons Capacity. Another guess on the consumption, 25-35 gallons per mile? So 300 gallons per hour? all a guess.
