James Heffer​​ danny from AA is a terrible example. On the three albums he did with them, to me, only a few songs were listenable. From "Death to Destiny"...no wonder he left. Look at Lamb of God or Breaking Benjamin for examples. Consistent for 10 to 15 years and they are both still awesome and selling out shows. I usually can't stand bands that don't keep a consistent sound.
