My tv is set up right under my loft bed and I lay on the floor when watching it, and there’s a string of fairy lights strewn underneath the loft where my mattress lays which lights up the area where my tv sits. When the window scene with the eyes came on, and then you mentioned yourself about the window scene and cut to an empty window I not only saw a pair of beaming orange eyes, but fucking *hundreds* of them simultaneously (fairy lights reflected in the tv). When I tell you I nearly fucking propelled myself into the ceiling-

I am an animal lover, make no mistake. That being so I still had to cry out at George going back for the dog. In much the same way, in Alien I thought Ripley had lost her freaking mind when she went back for Jones the cat when the ship was on self-destruct and the alien could have been anywhere. However, I still feel guilty around my dogs and cats.

Used to live a few towns away from the place, new owner said for years nothing weird happened in the house only thing was people coming up to the house peeking in windows or wanting to come in for a look that bothered him

I live 5 minutes from the real house and go visit it every Halloween. The current owners enjoy dressing up the house, but still prefer their privacy beyond that. The Amity/Amityville thing is half coincidence. Amity does mean friend and Amityville was named from that. In the book of Jaws, Amity is a fictional town also in Suffolk county that is far more out east.

the 3:15 am is how i feel about another specific 3am time i saw on a horror movie, the fourth kind. it was 3:33 in that movie and after i saw it as a kid i would never get up if it was that time during the night. i still feel creeped out by that time to this day

I watched the documentary with Ronnie (the one who killed everyone) and arguably it was more chilling than the movie. Ironically, everyone said they saw it coming. They said it was a violent household. Highly recommend checking out the real world documentary about it.

This was one of my first horror movies I saw growing up. Love it! It still makes my skin craw at the window scene! Love the score. I believe the psychic friend was supposed to be Lorraine Warren and her husband. But was rewritten for the movie. Irl, I believe. The Lutzs and the Warrens didn't get along well.

Another great review of a classic. It's limited special effects and no CGI leaves a lot to the imagination and unnerving chills from the movie. The wife seem to be enjoying the husband a lot before the age of Manscaping, I wonder what that's like.

I'm living in a “haunted house“. The former owner died under strange circumstances and the house is also weird. Mainly because everything is DIY and doesn't work. The radiators were installed the wrong way and would make stomping noises whenever turned on. We kept making Jokes about Heiner (the former owner) complaining over our attempts to fix stuff. At this point, I'm afraid my bf would start shooting people, if or when we discover another shitty DIY installation, that would cost us a fortune to fix it. ^^
