He should be angry with himself for having a hand in her death when he told her she didn’t need rehab. Her own father cared more about money and his career than for Amy’s health.

I'm a fan of Amy and I'm kinda mad the film portrayed like she never went to rehab. Amy went about 5 to 6 times in clinics and rehabs around 2010 & 2011. Her best friend Tyler James talks about it in his book. The film was not truthful.

Lost my brother, who was my best friend, to heroin- 10 years ago. Completely devastated me for 5 years. I am not your typical commenter on an Amy Winehouse interview or video. My sympathies for this man are real... and genuine. However- he is not telling the truth. He loved her, but he knew EVERYTHING about her drug use and her horrible condition. And sold her down the fuckin’ river for his own wallet. Can there BE a worse father than that ? The answer is.......

I am so sorry for your loss. I totally understand that as an addict, you have to want to get help and admit that there's a problem. My issue with Mitch has always been that he never really thought that there was a problem, the horrid thought crossed my mind that Mitch didn't mind if Amy was drugged/drunk because it made her much easier to control.

What pisses me off so much is Mitch, and her manager made her go on that last tour. Amy did not want to go! She had relapsed due to the stress that this tour was having on her yet she didn't want to disappoint anyone. She was drunk and out of it when they got her on the plane to Belfast!! She didn't know where she was at first.....They wanted the money!

Interestingly enough, his anger that they didn't include the good times highlights the problem. It's exactly the rehab situation. He thinks she's fine so she doesn't go. He thinks the last three years were okay. When in the midst of all three she was still in a bad way, fighting people and those disastrous concerts.

Hate how he dismisses the rest of her friend's stories about her, making a point to distance the friends included in the documentary as just friends, and those he meets up with as close friends.

Well Mitch, you should blame yourself for using your own little girl's fame in order to make money. I mean, imagine how Amy would've felt seeing her father bringing a camera crew for them to film Amy on holiday, which should've been a very private, intimate and special moment with family members and friends, but Amy's father totally ruined it and mugged her off, to be honest ! It's a shame and really sad to see. Rest in Peace 🙏 Dear Amy

I will never Forgive Mitch for this.. Amy didn’t even wonted to go on Tour she was not herself and she was not Healthy. While Amy’s Father (Mitch winehouse) force her to go he did care about her health he only cared about money & fame and it is a Shame. Amy really needed to go to rehab.

I'm a fan of Amy for years and years. Read many books and watched so many movies about her life. Unfortunately the Amy documentary was untruthful in some parts. Amy went to rehab 5 to 6 times around 2010-2011. I hate how the movie made her father a villain when it was clear as day that the only villain in Amy's story was her addiction that she couldn't shake.
