I think the Anabolic Window has a grain of truth, just not to the extent people think. Its more about eating calories around your workout to start the recovery ASAP, not that its absolutely necessary for growth, but it just helps with decreasing the recovery requirement between workouts.. I find that if eat a lot after a heavy workout I can relax more and relieve my body of that "fight or flight" mode that I feel after walking away from a crazy leg workout.. if I don't eat soon after, I feel a lingering stress and I stay sore for longer.. Now I'm no professional bodybuilder, but I know that my calorie timing after a workout makes a difference for me. I can physically feel it.

Was really disappointed when I thought I was going to meet you at a seminar but for some reason it didn’t happen. @@Factiverse_Factstry it. What is so tough about it? Gluconeogenesis is a beautiful thing and our species as been doing it since its beginning. We wouldn't have survived without it. If you are shaky from skipping a meal you either have something wrong or you been feeding so much your liver is out of practice switching over to gluconeogenesis. I've been doing it for years. I'm 53, and my body can put its focus into non-digestive processes more time of the day. You can eat the same amount of calories but do it in one sessions and free up your time and body processes to something besides digesting all the time with 3-6 meals. Multiple meals to me is insane. In general, Lee's over all message is spot on...especially on the car thing. Ha
