There was a woman here in Regina (Canada) who left her kids with her mother to 'go to the store'. She came home the next day claiming police had grabbed her for no reason and dropped her off on the edge of the city. Her mother posted about it online, anti-racist groups got involved, there was a protest at the police station, traffic was blocked, people were threatened. Police investigated, there was security camera video of her meeting up with friends at a gas station near her house and getting in a truck, other video of her and her friends drinking in a parking lot. The anti-racist groups still had their follow up protest, even after the woman admitted she had lied the activists were still pushing her case to the media.

Lol, I’m sorry but I found it funny the way you were saying “boo”, man. But in all seriousness, you are right about this hatred towards police... I’m a 26 year old black male, currently living & working in Newport News/Hampton VA and I’ve never had any issues with the police. I’ve been pulled over a few times for speeding because I hate being late to work; each cop who has pulled me over was professional and non-aggressive and to each of them I’ve kept my hands visible at all times (on the steering wheel to be specific), responded accordingly to their questions & instructions and explained the reasoning (if asked) for my actions as said by my friend’s mom, who is a police officer who is soon to retire sometime early next year so salute to her, and I have received warnings. In Henrico Richmond though, that was something different... I was late, lost and my gps on my phone wasn’t working properly and my signal kept dying out and I just said screw it I need to find a way to work fast and I was speeding in anger & frustration and I ended up receiving my first ticket ever for reckless driving and did 6 hours in holding. I could’ve received much worse, like a year and some change with a revoked license plus a huge fine, but the officer heard me out and included what I said the night I was pulled over and worked out for me so I was happy with the outcome. Despite the fact that the officers who pulled me were cool-headed and professional, you can just see the stress in their eyes and honestly I feel for them - it’s a tough and stressful job and I couldn’t imagine being in their position because everyday they have to deal with bullshit from people and they face an even greater possibility of getting injured or killed these days. I’m sure every job occupation has it’s stresses, that can turn a good person bad in 2.5 seconds if enough stress is burdened upon their shoulders, but to those men and women in police uniforms... They don’t deserve the negative stigmas because of the actions of few... They put their lives on the line to maintain balance in this ever deteriorating society so don’t group them all under a bad label due to the poor choices of a few.
@nightmathzombieethan6 жыл бұрын
Grey Wolf Exactly!!! Imagine a job serving people, where a certain percentage of your customers will act violently toward you or maybe even try to kill you. It has to be stressful never knowing what you might face with each new "customer". I know I'm a bit late but I like the post but leave earlier for work? Seriously though I drive and pick on a recycling truck and everyday is like playing Frogger because so many people are late for work and driving while putting on makeup and eating breakfast and texting all at the same time, a "waste collection specialist" just got hit and killed about 20 miles from me by a 19 yr old girl who was texting and driving and she got locked up for a long time. All I'm saying leave 10 min earlier and problem solved
@verde75956 жыл бұрын
Spitts Often, that's not a choice. It's rarely as easy as "leave ten minutes earlier". For these teenage girls who text while doing their makeup in the driver's seat there's no excuse, but for normal everyday humans sometimes you just can't leave earlier due to scheduling problems. My girl's university schedule, plus her lifeguarding job, make it impossible for her to get to any sort of meeting or event on time. It's just not feasible to expect her to be there without at least a few minutes leeway.

Actually, a man would never include that much detail unless he's talking about his favorite sports team. Clearly, only a woman would explain such an incident with so much detail. Another red flag how untruthful that all is. I doubt her boyfriend had anything at all to do with it. She never says his name. Just BooBoo. Why? If this did happen his name would be all over it. Maybe she got pulled over for something and it was her incident, just lying about it. But truly I think she just made the whole thing up and neither a boyfriend or cops were involved at all.

PDs need to start suing people for libel/slander. There needs to be a penalty for doing this kind of damage.
@Ireallyneedintensivetherapy6 жыл бұрын
Snibb if that happens we could sue for false accusations. for instance, I have had a vengeful ex make claims at a local dept and even tho it was dismissed, to the layman the record is very scary due to penal verbiage. they wont even call me back, its been half a year and even after getting a max restraining order that is based on libel and slander they just shrug.

Andrew, that really sucks. That should also have some repercussions. The problem with those situations are that they tend to be he said she said where there is no proof (not always the case.) In Ms. Danger's situation, it's more concrete that it's a total fabrication. Even better than suing would be if there was criminal law to handle these situations. I won't hold my breath though in this political climate.

sophie m as many police youtubers have stated: they would absolutely love body and/or dash cams. the issue is the money which would need to be invested to introduce and maintain that. not only do you need to buy at least one cam for every officer, but you also need somewhere to store the dozens of hours of footage per person every week (as the "keeping it off until necessary" method has been proven to be flawed) for extended periods of time AND any ongoing costs for repairs, etc. it would be great but it is just not possible, at least at this point in time.

In fact, it's quite the opposite. Affirmative action actively discriminates against white men when it comes to hiring. This is why you see more ethnic minorities and women working lower end jobs, like retail or fast food. Because they are more likely to get hired. I agree that Hillary would have started a nuclear war by now, and she doesn't care about America or Syria, or really anyone but herself. She just wants money. I want a President who puts America first. We're done being the world's police, they can go to shit for all I care. I'm not even going to get into what Donut covered here with the flights not leaving that late at night. If you were driving from Norfolk to Newport News at 10:30 at night, it would not take 45 minutes, more like half that time. Then the boyfriend claims he was at a 7-11 in Virginia Beach on his way home, which would be out of the way if one was returning to Norfolk from Newport News. I guess he couldn't find any of the other 100 7-11's between the airport and their home in Norfolk.
