THIS IMAGES ARE JUST A DREAM TO LOOK AT! Wow... TRUE ART IS NEVER DEAD and no matter what camera you used, it will forever remain ART! We are still watching movies from the '30s, '50s etc. and still love them. Why? BECAUSE THEY HAVE CONTENT AND WERE MADE WITH PASSION and a MESSAGE! That is ART: message! Not "influencing", not shitty lights in the background, not 4k-8k resolutions and SOULLESS pixels!

@@stephantuta5534 Haha, not really. A bunch of cringey stuff. BUT, you see? You triggered me and that is what ART should continue doing. Feeling sad, when people nowadays put too much emphasis on technology and gear, hoping that that will make them make beautiful art and express something meaningful, but while they are hunting for gear, on this way, they get lost and forget why they started everything, in the first place. So refreshing to come across videos like yours. Thank you for that!

We own two of these F3s for exactly this reason. They are b-cameras to our SRW-9000PL (which has the same sensor as the Sony F35). In my opinion these Sony Alpha cameras produce some of the nicest images I've ever shot. Very different to modern 4k, but stunning, with an almost filmic texture. Bravo - such a great showcase for the camera, one which is now sadly overlooked in the mad dash for 4 and 6k.

@@great.verity the F3 is a lot more user friendly, smaller, lighter - lovely image. The SRW is larger and heavier - but as a camera can do so much more. Plus no rolling shutter artefacts. I'm still digging into the menus and trying to work out just what it can do...

Hi, are you shooting 10bits 4:4:4 via Atomos? Incredible footage by the way, I have read the title rapidly and I thought at first it was footage from the sony a7s iii. It was already mindblowing from a 3500$ cam, but now it's unbelievable. I have a sony fs700 and I don't think I can obtain this kind of footage in the dark. P.S.: I know it's a detail, but the music at the end cuts abruptly. If you can add a fade out on the audio from youtube (which I never tested if it's an option), it could be a great solution. Cheers

Hi Stephan, this edit is amazing. In the description You say the F3 can be bought for around €1k nowadays. Could you recommend places to look for in europe? On eBay most cameras are going for 1.5-2.5k euros, many shipping from the US. Thanks, Matyas.
@stephantuta55344 жыл бұрын
Hi Matyas, thank you for your message and your compliment! Here in France, we have a website selling used items and we can find Sony PMW F3 around 1000 euros. Unfortunately they do not send elsewhere than in France. I have already seen some F3 on Ebay.us around 1000 dollars there a few months ago. Be patient patient my friend, unfortunatly nowadays F3 are rare, you have to wait for new seller.
