totally agree with this. from a lifetime of martial arts i've always found that you have to exert strength from the most awkward and non optimal circumstances. hence why you're so sore after a grappling competition. such exercises would be considered "bad form" in modern calisthenics as it could lead to injury, but real world applications require such movements.
@baza03839 ай бұрын
I also think gym culture is exactly like that. It's all about concentrated moves which you will never need in real life. Kettlebells/maces/sandbags really let you have a natural flow in your excercises, while still being able to lift heavy weights that make sense.

This is just my personal opinion, Rather than spending money on buying Indian clubs or Maces (since they're not readily available in stores in the USA), I purchased sledgehammers from my nearby hardware store. The hammers range from 3 lbs to 16 lbs. The weight isn't super heavy (I have barbells for truly heavy weight when training the large muscle groups), but gripping the hammer while swinging it one-handed is certainly challenging to my wrists and fingers.

I remember 4 years ago,when I was a gym meathead(not generalising this as a stereotype,but I myself have been one big meathead) just training strength every time and for some reason I got to help some workers carry 60kg bags of sand to my house,my strength was nothing,though I was the biggest guy out there,I couldn't care a single bag,no with my hands,not on my back,not at all,while the workers were some verry slim guys(you could see their ribs) they carried those bags like they were nothing,they could have taken 2 bags at once over their should and not struggle verry much.2 years later I got a different approach to my training routine,I changed to a mixt chalistenic routine with exercises that have other functions than just strength as well(for example endurance training,isometrics,grip training and more) and currently I found out that my strength(after 2 more years) has become verry verry functional,I can do pretty much anything a human body could be capable of,the strength I now have is verry versatile(and I still am aesthetic as well) like I can join any sport or activity that requires some type of strength and be good at it,I have great grip strengh(enough to crush a walnut with my thumb) I have great flexibility(enough to do high roundhouse kicks with perfect form or the middle splits,yoga techniques and more),I have great endurance to be able to run a marathon without a pause and more,my strength has become functional,and that's what I have aimed for,My strength has become true strength,not just a power to push a lot of kg at bench press

Interesting ideas . Will definitely GET you in shape (barring injuries) . Very rugged training ! Strength will probably plateau early without adding weight. (But it also plateaus with any training.) i like this.👍🏽

Does this program have a time duration like movement20xx 6mo or athlete 3mo? Or is it more like Warrior where you can do them where and whenever?
@Vahvafitness Жыл бұрын
It's more like Warrior 20XX. I would say most people will get good results by month 3 or 6 but of course this program can be done for years for continuous results. By the way, Iron King Method is the biggest program we have done and we have plans to update it even further

@Vahvafitness Жыл бұрын
We wanted to make it the trailer more "fun" with the music and theme. The actual program is 100% practical no filler
@que_93 Жыл бұрын
The reason it feels mystique is because of your unfamiliarity; not because it is so. The idol, the person and the music and the equipment used are from India... It is the reality for us. That multi-headed idol is of Hanuman: a Hindu deity known for his strength, power and courage. So, may be, spread your "wings."
@redmetalpanda9051 Жыл бұрын
@@que_93 what you are saying is mystique for me, outside and explainable forces. Having to base my trust on you for emotional reasons (because i feel like i can trust what you are teaching) rather than logic (because i understand the principle at work) is guru-type mystique to me.
@que_93 Жыл бұрын
@@redmetalpanda9051Who has asked you to base your trust into something for the sake of someone else's emotion? And what emotion is being considered here? It is pure facts and logic. People even today follow them and have immensely benefited. That is also each to their own experiences. And this short teaser has to focus more on content than to prove the purpose of the infusion of these "mystique" elements. Ero would have his own research. Same as he did for the martial arts of China. And to imply that guru-type training is more emotional than logic is at the very least condescending. It is nearly a 5000 years old tradition that still exists. It is just like a modern day school, only without the money and the shenanigans. The were taught meditation, fitness, combat skills, math, science, language, finance, and other life-skills-- far deeper and impacting than any modern-day curriculum. If you visit Kerala or Karnataka, you can still find it today-- real enough to clear any "mist of mystique." Good day!

Lol, do you even understand why our Gada are a stone or concrete head on a wooden shaft? a steel mace is defo not the same, and for the record we did use steel heads on hollow steel hafts with wooden inserts in battle so we had them but didn't use them in training, furthermore we use Gada, Mugdhar, Meel, Naal, Sumtola AND bodyweight exercises, you're only adopting a few...and using our 'ancient' arts for marketing!
