For the love of your knees just ditch that Frankenstein bullshit. Other than that, the chameleon and sparrow require quite a lot of strength and balance, both great mobility exercises. This dude makes it look so easy lol
@Vahvafitness5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Hristo. The Frankenstein is tough on the quads but it's safe is your knees are bulletproofed properly
@12stepsbeyondtheeventhorizon5 жыл бұрын
@@Vahvafitness yeah I get what you're saying, and I understand the temptation to use the ever so popular "bulletproof knees" term, but it takes only ONE wrong execution of this move and you'll find your knees aren't as bulletproof as you thought - it's a price that's just not worth paying. Trust me, I've seen it live a few times with people claiming their knees were adamant. There's just so many better ways to put stress on the quads and still engage the balancing muscle groups of your torso and lower back/glutes that are times and times safer, such as the Bulgarian squat, or even a pistol squat if you're feeling like a million dollas lol. IMO the frankenstein is not worth it at all, plus it looks hella dumb. That's just my opinion though. If people want to risk their knees I won't try to change their mind. As the elders say, you gotta make your mistakes yourself if you want to learn from them. Peace.

Jad, try doing isometric exercise on leg extension. I couldn't do regular extensions even with the lightest weights without my knees cracking (and it wasn't because of 'too much weight' because my quads couldn't feel a thing). Then I did isometric excercises for a while (just holding one leg up on the machine for 10 sec, and then the other, and I would lift/lower the weight bar with my hands at the beginning/end of the excercise), and after doing isometrics I could do regular extensions without any cracking 😃 it's definitely worth a try
