Very good explanation of movement, I need to watch this a few more time as my swing path is constantly outside in.

It’s because your left hand grip is super weak Matt, which is why I have changed it in our Skillest lesson 😎😊

Particularly useful for me! My spine is fused from L3-S1, so when I rotate my upper body goes with it, I have no choice. However, many instructors I've had tried to force me to stay completely centered over the low point of my swing. I can't tell you how many hours of frustrating practice and play that led to. I take from your video that I can let my upper half follow the club as long as the lower half stays reasonably centered or even left. I'm excited by this. I need another lesson from you focused on this.

You are absolutely free to move your upper body back! As demonstrated, it won’t harm you at all as long as you use your legs well. Best wishes Stu 😊

A great video. Sportsbox together with your describing how a particular action feels helps me a lot as I work to incorporate movements into my swing without overly exaggerating them.

Regarding your backswing at the 10:00 mark. I know left shoulder low in follow through is👍. Could right shoulder low in the backswing be 👍too? I've tried it and I feel I have more space/time for my pull.
@GoodGolfCoaching4 ай бұрын
Right shoulder low could work, and it sounds like nuts doing so. Without seeing you I’d be guessing, but if it’s working going with it! Best wishes Stu

The last example of a swing with too much load to the left is interesting. There was a really fascinating interview with Bryson where he talked about feeling as though everything was falling to the left - Bryson obviously has the strength to unravel it!

Never fear a reverse pivot 😝

Great video Stuart. Loved the comparisons you demonstrated. Does Sportsbox give you measurements for how open the shoulders are at impact? If so, can you give an idea of typical values and would it vary according to whether you were "swaying" or doing "stack and tilt" type of swing? Cheers.

Hi John - Sportsbox does indeed give you those measurements; will be doing a video on hip and shoulder measurements in a video very soon! Best wishes Stu

Hello Stu, how are you my friend, hope all is well and feeling well, my question is will this be the same movement of your lower body for your chips and pitch shot as well or no, thank you Stu for another great video, have a great day.

Exactly the same for chips and pitches. Lovely to hear from you and hope you’re well! Best wishes Stu

A other excellent vid Stu. I guess the only way to check this on a basic level is to video and check during a range session, do you agree?

Absolutely Doug ! Hopefully you have enough to go on from the video.

I’m having trouble understanding the point of this video based on the title and the content and how I can use the information to improve. I LOVE your videos. They’ve improved my golf swing immensely. This one left me puzzled as to what I need to consider doing in my golf swing.
@GoodGolfCoaching4 ай бұрын
Mike - you need to work out which one you are; what I do, is the movement I recommend. Hope that helps.

@@GoodGolfCoaching Oh! Got it. Thanks. In that case, it was the very last swing you demonstrated. The one where you leaned more to the left and then swung. That works for me incredibly well. Keep up the great work!

What is the difference between upper body sway and lower body sway and how are they done separately and also together? You talk about sway. What kind of sway are you referring to when you say rotate and sway?
@GoodGolfCoaching4 ай бұрын
Rotation and sway, one is rotational and one is lateral/sideways. Which some of my rotation videos for more clarity my friend. Hope that helps.

I’ve been watching a lot of Moe Norman lately, although this swing is different the lower body reminds me of his excessive sway towards target before hitting ball. Is that correct?
