The tall guy playing the bass is the guy who gave us Jimi Hendrix. Chas Chandler brought him to Europe and to fame. He's the guy who bought all the studio time for Jimi to create the Electric Ladyland. Which probably is the most bestest album anybody ever created.

Hilton always seemed so happy just to be there...always smiling. Not a flashy player, but solid as a rock and really integral to the Animals' sound. "House" wouldn't have been such a hit without his iconic guitar playing. Hilton was the guy you wanted in your band because he always put the song ahead of himself. Loved the guy!!!

One of my very favorites regarding the Animals. I admire Eric's character and the jest of making animal sounds instead of speaking as humans in this video ! I sincerely say, that Eric chose the right name for his group, and none is to get ashamed for ! We, including myself , are half animals and even more, if the world was animals only and non human, this planet would have been truly THE GARDEN OF HEAVEN as God created, and not the garden of Satan, as it is in fact. One would be wiser if he looks around to see the situation we the humans have brought with our own hands & intelligence to destroy all that was created including the innocent animals -- the present situation we are in right now !!
