This is GOLD, esp the pre-open stuff. On a small sample size, I’ve found the importance of strong grabbing the attention with “excuse me” with very direct eye contact. In fact the best reactions were where the girl was slightly surprised by the pre-open. Almost like a tension and release loop.

Same here! On my first few daygame approaches my pre-opener was so weak that I just confused the girl. Then I realised that starting strong, with a smile yielded better results. By the way, I almost always open with a compliment something I genuinely like about the girl. That's just me being honest and so far, so good.

One tip for long term relationship: As a woman I don´t say I understand all women´s motifs but I understand the best one. You love yourself not for what you say but for what you feel in present moment its spontaneity and happiness woman loves you for the same reason not for things you say but for things you feel at the moment, but dont say them (the things the guy thinks in head subconsciously and unknowingly, without preparation) with spontaneity and happiness because if she is a normal nice woman her only dream is to have a guy who is spontaneous and happy happy men easily fall in love Preparation is good, but at the same time its annoying. I mean when you go to buy an ice cream you feel spontaneous and happy,, you dont prepare long speech to get the ice cream you just buy it because you feel spontaneous and happy at the moment if you buy a car and you start to prepare in your head all the reasons about why you need car and for what reason and start to analyze everything for two hours your level of happiness drops down and you feel no joy from buying the car because of analyzis - paralyzis the same is about women they want you to feel happy at the moment, so she may get closer to you, and feel the moment of happiness because it makes her happy that you can not hide the happiness because you were not prepared for falling in love with her no protocol prepared you for falling in love therefore starts to be spontaneous, because love can not be prepared starts to have unexpected feelings but I am not talking about some sex on first date, or flirt, I am talking about long term relationships. this moment of happiness and spontaneity women dream about she dreams about guy who dreams about her with a happy thoughts she doesn´t want a man who is unhappy who doesn´t understand what happiness means etc The only problem is a chemistry but even chemistry may come later if both are humble and nice.

One of my tendencies i’ve noticed is that when i’m meeting a person of interest, i quickly go into interview mode and start asking “what” and “where” questions a lot. I’m going to practice removing those words from my vocab and focus more on the “you” like you guys outlined in this video.

Btw, Todd's exercises on push-pulls and exaggerations in VGA totally help regarding the followup lines when you need something relative and spontaneous after the opener! They really blend together

I think I gotta study about 100 hours of infield from Todd and his coaches, taking notes on what topics to bring up, lines to use, etc. My interactions usually feel a little flat and boring compared to these infield clips. (I understand these are just highlights, but still they inspire me about the kinds of experiences I could potentially give to girls.)

Only after doing the sets myself did I start to see a pattern of the things they were talking. Put a pause on the infield videos bro and just go out and practice. Do that a couple of times. You'll be surprised at what you find.

Both you guys @guarani and @Boxerus X have a point, but I've been having lots of interactions with women already - I just think by studying examples of more interesting game, I can find a lot of good ideas for how to add more emotional spikes and premise in my conversations - how to turn her boring responses into teases etc. I was watching some of Todd's hour-long infields from the Women course the other day and got a lot of ideas, noticed a lot of patterns of how he makes the conversations more interesting compared to my usual "get to know you" conversations. Studying infield isn't the right focus for everyone, but I think it has a lot of utility at this point for me

Yeah, the fear of failure is usually the most common reason for the toned down version which in essence leads directly to failure. Even if you overdo the assertive voice and scare the girl initially you can always calibrate after the fact and show her what a nice down to earth sweet man you are - or not. ;)

What advice do you have for situations like: • A noisy environmental where you may have to scream for someone to understand you; • The girl is some distance away from you: - Either seeing you for a while walk straight towards her; (Do you have eye contact the whole time? Or, look away, and then establish eye contact again when you're closer? Do something else?) - May see you for a few seconds from a some distance before disappearing (whether in a train station, or somewhere else); • The girl looks very focused on something else (maybe it's reading, maybe it's searching for directions, or something else): Do you just interrupt, and open disregarding what she's focused on? Do you acknowledge what she's focused on while opening?

Someone finally said it. I thought the same and he even didn't even acknowledge that or at least smoothly transition, there were many other flaws in the interaction like he went on and on about the number exchange stuff. Pointing out that she's excited can raise ASD which is not conducive to seduction. She was sold by then and was very into him so still it went well. Doing something like that during early stages of the interaction is what kills the interaction. Goes to show that all interactions need not have to be 100% perfect to make it successful.

I prefer to go immediatelly with eye-contact by risking to be a bit creepy, but this allows you to be 100% on the girl's radar and then you can follow-up and show that you are not creepy, then James says the false time constraint takes off the pressure from the girl so this means that the false time constraint can be used everytime and not just in the occasions he mentions, since if she does not feel pressure by talking to you it means she is ok with you, so false time constraint is a cheat code

You say something like, "I have to leave in a minute, but..." or "I'm meeting my friends in a minute, but I'm really curious about your outfit..." It's a technique pickup artists often use in the opening. I guess it increases the girl's willingness to chat with you since she knows you gotta leave in a minute anyway, you won't rope her into a 30-minute conversation or something.

It's not that it increases her willingness to talk to you because you have to go. It makes it seem more like a random meeting and less like you're out trying to pick her up. More love story style. Then again if you listen again to that section what he says is also true. It takes the pressure off of her and let's her know this isn't a situation that's too serious or could take a long time. That you may have to leave soon etc.
