I knew this would be your choice, I said you'd need a front deck for gin & coffee - I saw this and loved it. I think the smaller tap is for filtered water tap, look in the cupd for the filter cartridge (will need replacing). Love, love this boat. You have loved, lifed and triumphed this one! Wow! Do hope you can get your new home! We got a quote on a Narrowboat before Covid and that quote has now gone up by 30% due to cost of steel and supply and demand apparently. Your wide beam is great value when we compare to our potential new build. OK we know more costs in mooring etc but penny for penny we think your making a great move and omg what an amazing boat - good luck guys.

That is a beautiful boat. Mrs. B, I am reasonably sure that that small faucet IS NOT for handwashing, but it's for reverse osmosis drinking water. It's filtered drinking and cooking water!

This is so pretty . That additional faucet at the kitchen sink represents a Reverse Osmosis System is located on the ship if not underneath the sink or somewhere on the boat. This provides bottle quality safe drinking water. Filters must be changed based on the water source. If you fill the boat at the marina and the water is treated then you only need to change the filters once per year. You can ask the marina if the water is well water or treated water. Have fun!

A wide-beam actually amounts to a decent sized condominium that floats. Your useable floor area would be similar to where I live--except that it's all on one level with no stairwells that taking up a ridiculous amount of space. The boat has almost as many bookshelves as I would want if I were ordering such a craft. Not quite enough room for a North American sized refrigerator, but then again, that removes the temptation for Mr. B. to keep a bucket of worms in it. I'm sure Mrs. B. will find some opportunities to purpularize the interior!

Really enjoyed you showing us around your new widebeam. We look forward to seeing you share with us the changes you make to convert it to your 'liveaboard' home. For the time being, we are moored opposite you, (and taking half a quote from John Lennon), in the cheap seats, (joking). PS: if you see me in our Welldeck with my telephoto lens on my camera, it's because I am trying to take pics of the Kingfisher that flys between the island by you and ours. Enjoy, what we think is the best mooring area in Mercia Marina. PPS: in the '60's I had 500 Bonneville with 'clip on' fork handle bars and an Avon racing fairing - from Mitchenall Brothers in Durrington - where I worked in the late '60's.

A very nice boat and has one advantage you didn't highlight.Your vlogs to date have often taken us on walks now you can go on a hike from your galley to the bow then back along the gunwale to the stern and the con and so to galley ,repeat three times ...equivalent to a 3 mile hike in the woods without mud. might want to look at replacing the fin rads for standard radiators. fin rads don't work very well as the hot water goes in one end and continuously runs to each fin rad so fin rad at very end has no heat. something to look at

Fantastic!! Is that the largest possible?-serious question. Absolutely marvelous, darlings. Now don’t fill it up with too much furniture! Also, I truly hesitated to add even the slightest note of anything but enthusiasm, but I couldn’t help myself, having been in that honeymoon and post-honeymoon purchase period so often myself-the only caution I must bring up gently is the laundry and desk in the hallway as you may find that it is annoying over time since it is cramped, but I could naturally be wrong, I so often am. I know I must have missed something, owing to the fact that I've only just recently started watching your channel. But, why did you decide to finally opt for a widebeam after you had made up your minds about getting a narrowboat earlier in your blogs?
