No offense if you do enjoy them, but I 100% disagree. I'll be honest, I cannot, nor will I ever see the Hallowfall as Arathi as the Arathi Empire is defunct and had been for close to a thousand years (if not more). They're just named that so Blizz could capitalize on the name to get at people's attention. Furthermore Half-Elves were quite rare up until that point, so an introduction of an entire empire of them, in a continent we've never even heard of, suddenly popping up? That just struck me as a massive lazy ass-pull.

Perhaps the majority of the empire is all about retaking their old lands and crushing anyone who would stand against them. And upon hearing this, Marran joins them willingly. Offering her insights to the peoples of Azeroth in return for perhaps governance of Stromgarde in the newly reforged Arathi Empire in the old world.

My guess is that the Arathi girl we meet in Hallowfall will become a big name, the Arathi will split into two factions, light and dark, and since she's tight with Anduin both houses will unite in marriage which will unite the Arathi and Stormwind people. They seem way to into eachother to not have this happen.

Visually, this new Arathi Empire reminds me of the Holy Falcon Empire from Heroes V,VI, and VII, the sequels made after Ubisoft bought the Heroes franchise, and rebooted the entire lore. These Arathi have a few things in common with the Falcon Empire, mainly the use of Holy/Light magic, particularly lavish churches, and the fact that the Arathi transmogs include long robes and pieces of armor that covers the entire body, a style also seen on some of the Haven- units, the "human knights"- faction which the Falcon Empire also represents. The Falcon Empire was also racist towards non- humans, although the main character of Heroes VII- Emperor Ivan Griffin- has rather successfully changed that. Likewise, we know from dialogue with Arathi NPCs the Empire itself wouldn't accept most of our characters. So it's pretty clear the Arathi Empire could pose a threat in the future. But at least the ones in Hallowfall are our allies in the war against the Void, and I'm sure at least Faerin will ally with us over the emperor.

Nobbel, I've been thinking on a crazy theory myself, hear me out. What if the Arathi aren't from azeroth at all. Stick with me. There is no other side of azeroth. These arathi and the Avaloren they come from is actually the alternate version of azeroth from the warlords of dreanor timeline. Stick with me. The hoard from alternate dreanor never invaded their azeroth, they invaded ours. So out there in that alternate timeline is another Azeroth, perhaps not even called Azeroth, but another name. Maybe Avaloren. In this alternate universe, the hoard never came, the litchking was never made, and the forces of LIGHT in lordearon are never brought to the brink of extinction. This leaves the entirety of the eastern kingdoms for the most part entirely unified with no real challenges and the ability to keep working on their empire. Maybe even become powerful enough in the light to attract the attention of the army of the light, or other light fanatics. Just my own thoughts

There is no AU Azeroth in the AU Draenor timeline because only Draenor was tethered by Kairoz, nothing else exists (not even the stars in the sky there, apparently). It's also already been stated the alternate timeline of Draenor will eventually collapse on itself and cease to exist (and maybe already has). Canonically, we're not even able to go back to Draenor either. It would be interesting but Blizzard really doesn't want to touch WoD again it seems.

If the history of this alternate Azeroth is so drastically different, it doesn't really matter if the alternate Horde invaded or not. AU Draenor was more or less the same, only minor differences in character history, up until the point Garrosh and Kairoz went there. If "AU Azeroth" was equally similar, the Eastern Kingdoms would actually be pretty divided. Long before the Dark Portal the post-Arathi Empire humans had already separated into smaller kingdoms and city states. They re-unified into the Alliance (of Lordaeron) because the Horde invaded.

People have been calling him a zealot for years just because of a couple of his actions (which were understandable). Illidan killed the prime narru toward the end of legion, which is when beladar started to shift between light and dark. There are many other Crystal's out there on azeroth. I think beladar will awaken as a new prime narru and the rest of the Crystal's will become narru as well( maybe in the amounts mentioned in valens prophecy). And it may only happen when the fight begins

Ow that's wasn't about faction war in general. That was about poor motivation pre collectors book. Bad motivation letting saurfang take the kill. Poor visualisation on how sylvanas was slain by arthas. Poor motivation on why she burned the tree. The horde once again starting a faction war, instead of siege of lordaeron going first. Repeating the garrosh storyline etc, etc. Interest now caus story untold. Problem isn't just faction war, it's how the story is done.
