In Conq Byzantines stand at 42% win rate. Conq3 is statistically insignifcant in terms of sample size and data is heavily biased by individual performance.

To be fair, I've rarely seen a Jeanne d'Arc game that well played. The Byzantine lost 40 villagers and yet still stand pretty strong. Imo, he also wasted way too much ressources into trebuchets to destroy the keep in the middle while he was able to contest other sacred site. What made the difference is the economy/villager number difference and the micro for Jeanne d'Arc.
