I stuck chop sticks on a bowl of rice and people got upset, and I thought aren't we dying everyday?

I've been listening to this video while cleaning out my desk and I was wondering: maybe I should channel the chaos of The Fool and leave this working space fuckin messy! I'm kidding, anyway I really like the idea of interpreting your dreams and trying to figure out why you have the sense of humor that you have. I feel that if you can figure out your humor you may know something about yourself that's deeply embedded in your psyche.

I feel sad at the beginning of this discussion. I used to be that way. Now I'm cynical and disillusioned. I would like to retrieve some sense of that innocence, freedom to explore, and even trust, but with some wisdom now, and resilience. I've been that child speaking truth to power, and it's not often worked out well for me! Outcast!

The Fool on in the Tarot is not "stepping off into the world," he's *stepping off a cliff." Living the Fool can be empowering. There are no worries, no cares. Walk into a low treelimb and laugh. "I'm such a fool, it's a miracle I can BREATH!" No complaints with anything, because there are no expectations of aything. *Glory be to God*

The woman took him to the ground floor, the way out of the school. She took him to gifts he had left behind. His unconscious says a woman is the key, but his conscious says he is gay. And to this end, two men guide him back to his room in the school.

From this dream I gather that the dreamer made a lonely and unsupported choice to be openly gay and commence with same sex relationships as an undergraduate probably back in the 1980s. The Christmas presents on the ground floor he never picked up from his family indicate a rift of serious proportions. That the entire dream was one of "disorientation" speaks directly to his sexual orientation, particularly the elevator which went sideways first and then straight up indicating that after leaving the first floor and the woman who brought him there he had made his decision. Two men then brought him to his room. I think the dream is not very deeply unconscious as he was aware he was dreaming and aware he was gay. I believe it is speaking to a time long ago when his entire life turned around. I tend to also think that this dreamer does need some psychological help because he's returning to the state of disorientation.

I had to stop ten minutes in. Why are we not just blurting out that which feels natural to say? Why do we let that go? Try to tell me this world would be better because of some self imposed modesty.

Or better yet, some modesty imposed from anywhere

I think humans have never lived in such a complex and inescapable society. While quality of life has improved, many of the same problems exist with glossy exteriors. There is so much systemic oppression and broken systems that individuals feel are impossible to repair, words are almost all we have. I don't think the fool is necessarily unconscious as they deliver messages from the unconscious. This is not a time for modesty, but if that is your personal inclination, then look to live in one of those few remaining societies where innocence reigns. I wish that I could live there too, but it's not so much because modern people are distasteful to me, even as they are. It is because the modern world feels unsafe and confused as it collapses. Innocence certainly needs protecting, but you can't make other people behave as you wish. When you offer a solution to preserving innocence instead of feeling disappointed that others don't adjust to you, you may find more satisfaction. There are communities for you, but the world will not accomodate.
