Please stop fighting and embrace each other. The world and life can be beautiful. Please peace. I know it's easy to say, but try. I'll be with you. You are an ancient people. Let the futures be as long as your past. Be Enough! Enough!

I lived in Sanaa for three years just before the period this film was made, it’s a fascinating country. Back then as a westerner you could walk about freely, go trekking in the hills and live down town with no security. Now I don’t think I would dare step out of the airport. Notice how colourful the women’s dresses were then, now they all have to wear black. I keep up to date with what’s going on there and feel so sad for the situation they find themselves in, war, c*vid, corruption, poverty they deserve better

Thanks for the comment. Yes it's unfortunate this war is still going on. The people are suffering and many buildings were destroyed.

Wow, what an interesting footage, if you let us see what the place was like in those days of the 80's. Have you ever taken pictures of the buildings of The Old Walled City of Shibam, Yemen around the 90's? More specifically, a photograph that appears on the website of "Hidden Architecture". I ask you because we are looking to preserve the original photograph, since it has been on CDs that contained free-of-use stock photographs. If you can help us with any useful information I would appreciate it. Kind Regards.

Elias Ghaleb Yes it’s true, google would say it’s new York, but that’s false information. Yemen started the whole skyscraper things, and even rich peoples houses would be 6 stories tall.

@Aaer Sseefr I think u need to read about this subject I have met so many Arabs from different countries they all told me the same thing origin of Arabs is Yemen 🤔 Anatolia is for Turk's
@ferrousfread20855 жыл бұрын
@Aaer Sseefr OK prove it by any proves, support your idea with material proves texts from books or whatever is but for me u just need to go & search in old testament & islamic textbooks & u would find the truth most of scholars have agreed on one thing that Yemen is the origin of Arabian people haven't heard about kingdom of Sheba it was located in Yemen & so many Arabian kingdoms go & read then come to spread lies here 😏😏
