I highly recommend buying the Walt Disney Records Legacy Collection release of The AristoCats. It has all of the complete sings and score on disc one. Plus all of the tracks have been restored and they sound amazing!! Then in disc two various demos of songs that didn’t make it into the final film plus new recordings done by Walt Disney Records.

How did Roquefort exactly know where to find the alley cats? Did he already know about them and their favorite moor spot? It seems that he didn't. Besides, alley cats can be anywhere in the city suburbs, so Roquefort might have well misses a lot of useful time finding them, and in the meantime Duchess & co, on their way to Timbuktu (with or without o'Malley). Wouldn't it be simpler and easier if it was o'Malley who went to find his alley friends (in addition, a cat seems faster than a mouse, which would be of great use to cover longer distances), while Roquefort tried to alert Madame, the old lady, for example? I don't know about the relationship between that lady and the mouse. Maybe she did not know about his existence, or she knew but did not welcome him at home (reason why the mouse remains hidden in his hole). In any case, she would probably go after the mouse (with or without a broom) while unbeknownst to her he was leading her to where Edgar was keeping the cats...
