This episode should be classified as a Public Service Announcement and Humanitarian Message to the World. I was spellbound by your candor about your personal ordeal and humbled by your unselfish regard for the welfare of other people who might otherwise have suffered as well. There was something spiritual about the way you shared your story with us, and I feel blessed for having heard it. Thank you.

How loving of both of you to make that most important decision to self quarantine. You protected the health of countless people. You set a very good example of self sacrifice. We are asked to stay at home for a reason. To protect our ourselves and even more importantly to protect others. To say thank you doesn't seem to be adequate but the feeling is deep in everyone's heart I'm sure. ❤

This isn’t a ‘gloomy’ podcast. It’s a sensible explanation of this awful virus and what it can be to go through it. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased and relieved I am to see you both back. , but Carlos, Do Not overdo it, you have been very ill and it will take a long time for your body to recover. I think I might have told you my son, who is living with us at the moment, works on the Covid ward of a large city hospital and I know how important it is for you to look after yourself, you too Arne, it has been a tiring and worrying time for you. To keep myself occupied I am still knitting those birds 😃 Before long I will have enough to start an aviary 😁. Eat well, rest and enjoy the sunshine.

What an ordeal you both have been through! I think you have done a great service by sharing your story with thankfully a happy ending. Thanks so much, Arne and Carlos, for treating your readers like family and giving us the details of your experience with the COVID-19 virus. It really, really helps to hear what it felt like, for each of you. You also inspire us to keep on keeping on with our social distanceing. Meanwhile, I'm on Patch 7 of 9 (with maybe some borders of Pothos vines to make my pillow top fill the pillow form I already have). I plan to knit a back from one of your new cushion patterns - knit that in the round and steek it. So no, I'm not going for a 96 block blanket! One of the things slowing me down from this Quaratine KAL project is knitting a "Saave 2.0" Teddy Bear out of your Favorites book, using your sock yarn in the Gargia Masi colorway. My granddaughter requested this. I am trying to get it done before her May 1st birthday, when she will turn 4. I would so love it if you would say the name Saave in Norwegian on your podcast! I can't even type it correctly, with the a with a little superscript o above it. Anyway, THANKS! Both your podcasts and your patterns are a comfort in these uneasy times.

You make such a strong case for people to take responsibility and follow the health advisories of staying home and hand washing. There is still so much to be learned about the virus and individuals’ response that we must remain diligent. Your podcasts and your messaging are doing an incredible public service. We are so thankful that you are recovering, Carlos and you have the loving care that Arne gives. We appreciate your angels.

Thank you for sharing. I’m glad you’re both well. I can’t imagine how frightening it must have been to be sick and to watch the man you love be so sick. It was was interesting to hear how much the world has changed in the last month. It must have been shocking, it’s shocking for us and we’ve watched it happen. I’ve really enjoyed the knit along and the knit group, it’s the only Facebook page I find myself visiting because everyone is so supportive and kind. If you’re up for a blanket, count me in.
