Rather than direct her to her seat, I would move towards the seat that has the lesser view, giving her the better view, and then, I would ask if she would prefer where I am sitting. In doing this, I would not be some control freak trying to control the woman; I would be showing her that I don't trap her in a cage, rather I give her options and freedom. Also, if she is a thinking woman, she could evaluate how considerate I was to her by moving to a seat that left her with the better view. As for planning and proactivity, those are essential parts of living life, even though many peoples' minds are missing those processes (especially these days). Thus, we can't consider planning and proactivity as leadership skills, rather they are basic life skills (even squirrels plan for the winter). Though, dating is an experience, not a game, contest, or marathon. It doesn't have any goals, rather it is a getting to know someone which might not work out (
