The thing that made DAGames stand out to me is that most of the time, the lyrics aren't directly about the game, but rather the themes or feel of the games. The easiest example I can think of is their Battlefield 1 song, which you could easily just assume is a WW1 themed rock song, without it being related to a game.

I'm surprised you didn't cover a few artists. Two I'm a fan of are Or3o and The Stupendium. Or3o has made quite a few good songs with one of my regular songs I listen to being "What the Hell". She's also probably the reason why "Just Monika" is the only RE song on my whole playlist. She makes good original songs as well. I have yet to listen to any of her Clover songs but "Monsters" is probably my favorite Halloween song ever. And there is quite a bit of competition there. The Stupendium is best well known for their songs about videogames. The first one I listened to was "Art of Darkness" and it was a little over a year later when I became a fan of DDLC that I found "Why did I say Okie Doki?". However, my favorite songs are definitely their horror holiday songs. The fourth song is pretty meta in how Greg doesn't want to make another song even though they knows their fans want it. Last Christmas, they made a song about the backrooms which was a change of pace when it came to their horror holiday songs. One could make a whole video about the horror holiday songs. Simply put, their work is stupendous.

I think it’s really cool how a lot of artists who got big doing nerdcore/covers have used that experience to strengthen their personal work, and I wish more people would give them recognition. Yet I feel like artists such as Nate and Will don’t receive as much recognition for their metal songs, original or not, as much as the electronic songs that were huge in the FNAF fanbase. The two are a big reason why I like metalcore now, even if I didn’t like it at first, but I got hooked on the genre just in time for the masterpiece that is “With You.” Which probably didn’t have to be linked to Poppy Playtime at all, it’s just a really cool song.

One specific thing I remember about RE is in their Baldi’s comments video, they got a comment from someone (using a speech-to-text thing I believe) saying that because they were blind they weren’t able to get into the Baldi’s games easily and that RE’s musical was good at describing everything through lyrics and helped them understand it more

Hello! I haven't read through all your comments yet, so if this was touched on already, I apologize! However, I can explain the cohesive stuff with the FNAF: The Musical series. Anything posted after the Supercut (Aka the first 5 nights) is part of a prequel series, and since the prequel series hasn't been concluded yet, not everything is resolved. However, since it's a prequel, Mark doesn't show up, because it's his first night at the start of the Supercut. Now, for Cuphead, the base RE team did the animation. However, they are not known for animation nor their drawing skills, so it did come out looking lower quality. (It was all drawn digitally and then animated in the same program that South Park is animated in.) They learned their lesson from that, and now hire other animators to animate their songs. In fact, AJ actually animated a part in the REanimated Cuphead project, and it was leagues better! (I'm also quite a big RE fan, and can help clarify anything you're confused about if I know the answer.)
