And the fans started making their own elaborate lore/headcanons to satisfy their hunger for new content, which then got mistaken for being actually canon by some people. Purple guy had no name back then so people just decided his name was Vincent and invented a whole entire backstory/character for him. Hell, even today, most of the well-known theories/assumptions still aren't technically 100% confirmed by the creator or the games themselves

Honestly overall I'll take the modern stuff over the old, much easier to just avoid the crap stuff and enjoy what videos and fangames and such are legimately good. I have a weird relationship with that Fazbear and Friends parody. I watched it when my family went to see our relatives on another state in a small town. The hotel we stayed in was dark, empty and at night a fuckton of spiders would come out and i don’t remember saying a single ray of sunshine when we stayed there and for some reason that memory is like a roomate to that parody. A few years later, my lil bro would come up to me and talk about the animation, primarily the Chica scene, only a week later after i saw another video mentioning it. Sometimes i feel like i was an abandoned victim of MK Ultra, on god.

It’s extremely surreal seeing somebody else acknowledge Tony Crynight’s existence. His series is a certified classic. Funnily enough, he uploaded a video earlier today. Edit: so, to explain the story at the end, Springtrap got a remote that “resets” an animatronic, including a memory wipe. When the main four enter the warehouse, Foxy does a Battlefield 1 charge and impales Springtrap, but Springtrap had that last stand perk from Call of Duty and used the remote against foxy. While Bonnie was able to mostly restore him, he was kind of lobotomized, but it’s implied his memories are slowly returning. As for Mangle’s name, my best guess is that the series is in some way canon, but these versions are prototypes of the Security Breach characters (both have levels of personality previous animatronic generations didn’t implying advanced AI) and these ones are just coexisting with the other characters, likely around the time of sister location (compare the endoskeletons) but likely before FFPS. At this point, the possessed characters are probably ennard/molten Freddy, wondering around in some ditch somewhere. As for Fredbear and Springtrap, I’m gonna guess they tried to reboot the original Fredbear’s, but failed after Springtrap basically broke some girl’s arm. Meanwhile, the real Springtrap is probably wondering somewhere, waiting for Henry to build the FFPS location. Didn’t intend for this to turn into a whole essay, but there’s some explanation, glad he enjoyed the series.

As a person who has been through the FNAF series in like since the first FNAF game came out, I gotta say the 2014-2017 era of FNAF was wild to say at least. With some Markiplier moments, to the iconic moment when MatPat said, "Phone Guy, MatPat, Scott Cawthon? "and then burn alive in the FNAF Musical saga, and even with some "interesting" things that the fandom has created. It truly was an experience to me after being in this whole community for so long, and now look where we are today. Pretty crazy to think about, isn't it, especially when you know that in 2 years from now, it will be "10 Year's at Freddy's"
@tomaszhallay6653
@tomaszhallay6653 Жыл бұрын
Actually the animatronics have SOME personality. Freddy is the inteligent, calm (he's the only one who's never twitching, spasming or shrieking) and authorative one, Bonnie is the crazed, aggresive and insane one, Chica's the persistent one, Foxy is probably the most placid but yet the most unstable one and Golden Freddy....I think Golden Freddy's thought process is beyond the comprehension of the human brain. Yeah, sure, they are thoughtless, soulles hunks of metal, but we see SOE difference and traits in their individual AI

This whole video is so much nostalgia, I was a teenager during this time and FNAF was basically my life for a while. I grew up alongside these games. It's too bad the franchise went the way it did, the games used to be scary and mysterious, but after around FNAF 4 the whole series because wildly oversaturated. I respect Scott Cawthon as a person but the way he took the lore past that point just lost me. I've kept up with the games but the lore is where I'm always lost, even if I understand it better than most people, because it's just not interesting any more. Being one of those weird guys who never played the games and just somehow followed the creepy aestetic since I was a kid and was invested in the story, I have to admit I'm more a fan of Fnaf 1-3 and how UCN ended the original era than the entire IP as a whole. HW originally got a thumbs up from me storywise, but then everything going on afterwards kinda revoked that positivity. Then appearently whoever continues pushing out storycontent decided that the community is right and the state of things sucked too much to be true and thus they reverse-engeneered some random details in SB into a retcon that says "Hey, we got jabaited, this thing was actually a lie" and...meh. Yeah. To tldr my current relationship to the storyline, as I grew older and it just continued getting worse, I fell out of love with it. And then fell out of love with it again. But I always come back for some reason. Major case of fictional masochism or stockholm syndrom? Idk. I even just sneakily did the most overused William-reference again like two sentences ago because I still find it funny for some reason. 4:43 I don't even take drugs, but I want what they were having. 7:12 There is some major irony about how this game was one of the few parts of the initiative that wasn't a complete trainwreck, despite the dev literally getting exposed for "dirty deeds" and yeeted off the net mere days later. No negativity against anyone behind the scenes, but it is amazingly impressive how hard the entire event imploded afterwards. Even more impressive being how unless I missed something major, it was never even cancelled and the titles scheduled to release are still presumably going to...eventually. Hopefully.

Drugs do far worse than you know but " revoked positivity " Ok yes it`s aware that this is a dark time than was back then but then how does it jump back? or and this might too close or foreshadowing to say, the end?

I vividly remember Tony Crynight and Jonochromes releases. As much as Tony’s series is kinda, cringe? I won’t deny that both him and John were great animators. Sadly we don’t talk about John anymore…

I do not live in an english speaking country, so FNaF is not at all big over here. Actually, Security Breach being on the PS5 was the first fnaf thing (besides funko pops) i've ever seen here (and the fact the movie is gonna be in cinemas here is a goddamn miracle!). So I was the weird kid who talked about animatronic murder and FNaF was basically my first steps into the english side of the internet. Man, good times
