_______________________________________________________________________
This teapot comes from China, and it is a trick teapot! Inside there are two separate compartments, and depending where you place your fingers - either covering one hole or covering another hole - you can get the teapot to pour out of either internal compartment.
Supposedly, back in the day, it was a way to get rid of an enemy, since you could pour out some tea for yourself and drink it quite safely (provided you had covered the correct hole) and you could then pour a drink for your enemy, and they would unknowingly get what was in the second compartment, maybe poison.
Here Tim demonstrates pouring a cup of tea, and then adding milk, both from the same teapot. I suppose you could have tea or coffee, or whatever you like really.
See our web site if you are interested in buying one of these unusual teapots - www.grand-illusions.com/assas...
How do you fill it? Here is Tim's tutorial video - • Poisoning Pigeons In T...

Ben L there is only one hole, that you as a user need to worry about! It’s about whether you cover it or not that matters. The other two holes are: Vent for the poison chamber, teapot spout. Stop telling me that there are 2 holes not 1, and that I can’t count! I just don’t consider the vent as a hole same as you wouldn’t count the spout as a hole! I know the presenter looks senior and wears a suit, but that doesn’t mean his brain is on par on this matter. If you still don’t understand what I am saying, think about this: Would you rather want to have to mess with two holes and try to remember which hole is meant which, and end up killing yourself just by being paranoid and having a heart attack during the process before you even get a chance to use it, or only having to remember covering the top hole as “pure tea mode”, and not covering any as “tea and poison mode”, and sleep calmly at night knowing that you will not cause damage to your body accidentally? It is pretty obvious. Guys, it’s not that hard to think just slightly out of the box and have critical thinking against what you are being told.

might be the reason that when eating a meal, proper etiquette suggests having both hands on the table even if using only one, because it would be rude otherwise.. like in wild west where people with guns would hold one hand under the table or something
@DJB3lfry
@DJB3lfry 3 жыл бұрын
@@tickoman273 I've heard some rumors about how Louis XIV ordered his guests to eat with both hands on the table after he learned of a conspiracy to poison him. But of course, not all etiquette and social norms come from utilitarian things like that. Most etiquette was actually created by various aristocracies in order to differentiate themselves from commoners - basically, if you wanted to be accepted as a true aristocrat, you'd need to know the secret handshake. And then, of course, because everyone wanted to copy the aristocrats, arbitrary etiquette rules would slowly spread and become the norm.
