What's with Kirkman giving his protagonists the most boring names? Invincible = Mark. Wolf-Man = Gary. That took a lot of thought!

Well he made millions of names like that, so he is doing something right 😁

Kirkman...I began reading The Walking Dead almost 20 years ago, before anybody else I knew (not that I knew of many, at all, fellow comic book reading friends), but since that (and this book's) creator/writer made that public statement about white guys several years ago, any respect for him has dropped dead. Yeah, I can appreciate and will read cartooning styles of illustrating but this is too a bit cartoony for me to take the seriousness of the mature or adulterated situations, seriously. Kirkman should've gone with somebody closer to the Walking Dead's artist, at least. I suppose it's meant to blend with Invincible, but I've never felt motivated to read that series, either. Since this is set in that universe, I wouldn't know of this character. Werewolf goes to human prison? Well, he's a werewolf, not a rabbit. Of course he kills. As I look at this on a second viewing, I MAY be acclimating to the art style. Maybe. Jason Howard makes me think of Josh Howard (T-Bird and Throttle, formerly with Alterna). And the two art styles are similar. Any relation, I wonder? Hmm, shades of David Williams, too. Just ditch those heavy outlines. Hahaaaa...the more I'd think on the name “Gary” each time I heard you say it in this review, the more I'd think instead of Nerdrotic...or, of Spongebob Squarepants' pet snail, Gary (damned page ad, in the issue that you review after this yet I commented on first). No, Gary Martin does not come to mind. But Kelsey Shannon the vanished man's sketch of Gary Martin as Gary the snail, does come to mind. And won't leave! With a second watch, this doesn't look so unappealing. I'm still not gonna get into the world. I'm not so much a fan of “Image” 2017 as I am of Image 1997. Like you couldn't predict that! Still, seems like an alright werewolf character story. Clap for the wolfman, and my thanks for another review by you, Marinus. Cheers and have a good one!

Never read the Walking Dead. Watched the series but it was in decline after a couple of seasons, so i'm not sure how accurate the series was. Is it still going on? The art is better in the later issues. The cartoony style works, but i could be better indeed. yeah it was set in the same Unioverse so this was going to happen sooner or later. Same here. Now the invincible books are way too expensive. There were some superhumans in there too :). Ow yeah. I seet he resemblance of art style ( i almost forgot about that guy). yeah the heavy outlines are sore to my eyes. hahahaha he has a beard alter on so yeah. Too many Gary's!!! Right. well you don't have to get every book lol I only got this because it was 15 bucks secondhand, so i took achance. It's a good series. Everthing in the 90's is better , Mike hahaha. You ghave a great day and talk to you laterrrrr. Cheers!
