The fact that the Astros have the record they have, despite all of these injuries, is nothing short of a miracle. Any other team with this many key guys out would have a record well below .500. They're gonna be alright.

The astros just needs to win these upcoming May series against the white sox, the A's twice, and if possible the Cubs.. if they managed to do that and hopefully by then altuve is back I think the team is gonna be ok.. great video by the way and I appreciate you optimism during this tough games 🔥🔥👍

I want to say a couple things, #1 LET"S GO!!!- I'm very hyped up about the rest of this month's schedule and next month we'll have Altuve, Brantley back which will really bless our offense #2 I believe maybe the pitch clock has a lot to do with it for Abreu/Bregman especially. We're like in Spring Training for this pitch clock still. Just wait and be patient the season is a marathon not a sprint. These men are human and play top baseball pretty much all year long. I know we all expect the Astros to win over 120 games each year, LOL I try to be patient and hope that we start streaking and the other teams start dropping from the 162 game schedule. Now if this was a sprint, I'd be a bit worried. Calm down and LET"S GO ASTROS!!!

It’s amazing to see the Astros win against top teams like the Rays and Braves. What would be more so, if they were to win series against teams that are substandard to professional baseball. Idk why we lose to teams that we should easily beat. Like in ‘22. Once montero, pena, and Abreu make their adjustments and the return of Brantley, LMJ, and Altuve happen. We should be on the 95+ win side come seasons end. As long as health is no longer an issue.

I think youre slightly optimistic, but not far off. Altuve has always been the spark plug. He also has always taken some time to find his stride after injury. Hes not even back yet. Also, brantley is past his prime and should have retired. He should hit better than abreau, but thats not saying much and again, hes not back yet either. And speaking of abreau, his struggles should not be surprising. Hes used up, not coachable, and not the team player he was sold as. Mccullers is stealing money from Crane at this point. A lot of bad joojoo comes from parting with a GM after a WS win, Bagwell does not belong in the front office. A lot has gone wrong and the MO of the FO seems to have changed. My only remaining hope lies with Altuve and Baker. Altuve has been the face of this winning era and he still has a few miles on him. We need him back.

Can Dusty make Montero pitch less now? We would’ve won the Seattle series, probably would have won the Angels game, he’s blown so many leads, why is he still coming in with close leads?

He has 1 blown save and 1 blown loss in 16 games. His ERA was at 2.25 coming into May. He was lights out before the tragedy of the last 2 games. He only gave up 2 runs in 11 games in April.

it's not panic about the record at this point, it's frustration that Dusty refuses to shake up the line up a little bit and apply sorely needed fixes staring you right in the face that might at least slow the bleeding now while waiting for guys to come back off the IL, ie. Maldinado vs. Diaz as primary catcher and a black hole in the 4 spot night after night.

I am not worried about the Line up But I am worried about our rotation as of right now. If the Astros can stay relevant until the Allstar break maybe we can trade for some starters hopefully the White Socks stay bad cause Dylan Cease and lance Lynn will be at the top of every bodies boards.

I think that there is pride to be taken in a team that goes through good times and bad and works diligently towards the common goal. They can be great. And, yes, they are doing it WITHOUT CHEATING. I think that a second championship would help everyone to forget about the tainted 2017 "cheating" season, and ensure their legacy.

Your glass is half full, mine, half empty….Altuve is great but Abreu and Bregman and the back half of this lineup must start hitting. Montero must stop walking batters and Blanco needs to get more consistent with his pitches. We need a 100% Brantley.

Mariners have the worst team batting average of all 30 teams. France pitched well but it’s not going to be enough. Team has the 22nd best ops as a team in the league. No one is working counts. Waiting is fine and all of you don’t live in a town full of rangers fans. This is already annoying.

my biggest issue is that the guys we've given the big money to the last few years (mccullers, montero, and abreu) lance CANNOT stay healthy, he just cant, and it may be time to move him to the bullpen, but that means youre putting a 85 million dollar man in the pen. i was glad to resign montero, but at 34 mil? after just one good year? and then abreu.... holy shit..... anyone thats watched baseball most of their life and is honest with their self knows that theres something wrong with him. those last 2 signings are on crane and bagwell for acting like they didnt need a GM to make these deals

And here we are in 2024. Astros dead last in AL West with a record of 12 and 24. The only teams with worse records are Marlins, Rockies and White Sox. Starters stink. Bullpen stinks. Hitters, when they can get on base, can rarely get any runners across home plate. Yordan is ice cold. Bergman too. JV allowed 7 runs by the Yankees in a game we'd go on to lose 10-3. We're well past being consoled by reminders that it's early in the season. I think I speak for all Astros fans when I say... WE WANT OUR ASTROS BACK!!
