The Asylum Echoes of Nightmares Past is a home haunt located in Winter Garden, FL. The haunt owner and creator Jeremy Kent is also it's only builder which makes this home haunt even more impressive. Encompassing only around 300 sq ft this home haunt appears to be much bigger than it actually is, but it's just inside of his garage.

The Story:
1929
It had been nearly 12 year’s since the horrendous tragedies that shattered the small town of Winter Garden had taken place. The deceased Haine family of Mary Valek, her husband Dr. Samuel Haine, and their young daughter Penny, all had been brutally laid to rest over the span of the past 3 years and with them, the mysterious reasons as to why it had all happened.
Over the years, the Halloween season was never quite the same in the dreary town of Winter Garden. Ever since the stained past of the Haine’s massacre, every Fall brought with it the memories of what had been, and an un-ease in the air of ever knowing why? Now, with the onset of the depression just beginning to take its toll on the town, citizens of Winter Garden were beginning to feel a sense of uncertainty again as the crisp cool nights were approaching. With the taunting echoes of memories past that had plagued the town for years, little did they know that the horror was JUST about to pear its ugly head around the corner once again…

As a home haunter I'm very impressed! I use a lot of the same stuff he is using but a different theme and I don't have much of a detailed story. Mine is called hell on the hill and it's supposed to be a hell for every individual that has there own hell to face

Jeremy is so passionate about his haunts. You can feel it oozing out of every room. What he did with 200 sqft is unbelievable. Talent and drive don't go far enough to describe what went into this house. Looking forward to next year!

I always made an elaborate haunted house every year with a different theme until the kids grew up and left. I did one last one which was too much and expensive for just myself to operate and only allowed to be open for the two hours of Trick o treating on Halloween night.
