String theory is a mathematical model for unifying quantum physics with classical physics. It is technically not a theory, yet. Subatomic particles have been detected, strings have not. Atoms have been photographed under a scanning electron microscope. In Sweden, 2008 the electron was photographed for the first time using a quantum stroboscope.

String theory was and is unfalsifiable, and makes no testable predictions. It's not even real science, and it never was :( Idk why the scientific community ran with it the way they did. I guess they all had "faith" because "the math was beautiful"... oh what irony. I do have the benefit of hindsight, so maybe i'm being a bit cheekier than i should be. :P

Morally, there are similarities between an ex-atheist that decides to look for a god after being melted away by a bunch of cute girls smiling at him as he walks the aisle and an extremist that believes stories about virgin waiting for him in heaven if he blows himself up. It is commonly thought that Jesus was without sin because his father was God. However, his mother was a human, so Jesus did inherit sin through his mother. The wages of sin is death, so that explains why he died.

Perhaps if I rephrase the comment. According to Genesis, sin brought death into the world. Hence the well known phrase or saying, "The wages of sin is death". Jesus inherited sin via his mother. She inherited sin from Adam and Eve. So why do we die ? Because we are sinful. Therefore Jesus died because he was sinful.
