The Atholl Highlanders Parade 2024 - The March Past

Saturday 25th May 2024 saw the annual Atholl Highlanders Parade take place at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl.
The inspecting officer this year was the charismatic Major General Alastair Bruce of Crionaich OBE VR DL, Governor of Edinburgh castle.
This is the March Past, where the Atholl Highlanders get to play their favourite tune - "The Atholl Highlanders"!

The weather improved as the day went on, ended up rather sunny and a lovely drive down the A9 to home! You should make an effort Colin, its a great day out - even my wife enjoys it!!

Hey, it NEVER rains on the parade. It 'sprinkles', respectfully 😁 [I live in the Pacific NW of the US and march in my local Veterans Day (Remembrance Day/Armistice Day) parade every year. There've been times it 'sprinkled' rather, um, 'vigorously']
