What you said about disability really struck a chord for me. I do the best I can on my own and then when stuff happens or I have to pretend to be ‘normal’ for other people it takes so much out of me. I cling to time alone in my room with my noise canceling headphones and my cat and my coloring and writing and video editing. Everything else feels so difficult. Thanks for sharing your content with us. It’s made such a difference in my life this year, having videos that bring me instant comfort. I’m really so grateful it’s hard to put into words ❤️‍🩹

The autistic brain is rather like a very high end classic car. It’s is the most beautiful machine when it’s working properly, but if the slightest thing happens to the car, it can take weeks to months to years to fix. Sometimes it takes time to find the right parts, and sometimes you have to use parts you normally wouldn’t. The car still looks beautiful but it’s at rest in the garage but you’re not sure when she’ll be on the road again…

I really related to what you mentioned about disability, thank you for sharing! I feel like I spend so much time recovering from things that are generally considered minor disruptions/inconveniences, that time just flies by without me feeling like I’ve done much of anything except just drift through the days. You talking about the surprise of disability really resonates with me,. I'm disabled in multiple ways (autism, ADHD, hEDS) and I do notice it in my daily life but usually it's minor enough that I don't feel "really" disabled. then something changes (e.g. needing a new job, my headphones broke) and I feel like a small child, just totally upended and incapable of dealing with adult life and responsibilities. It's so hard.

Halloween in July should be an official event. Seeing you shop for Halloween items is helping me through summer, which is my least favorite season. It’s too hot and humid and I always feel guilty for not enjoying summer activities. Seeing Halloween decor helps to brighten my mood. 🖤

I'm so happy to have had this video to come home to today; I was out with extended family all day being deadnamed and misgendered. I'm so tired, and this was so nice and soothing and made me feel better. Also, what you said about disability kind of blew my mind... I've felt like this for so long, like I'm always playing catch up and always getting mad at myself for not being able to handle small things. Somehow, I never realized it was part of disability until you said this... I just kind of thought I was weak. So thanks for sharing your thoughts, I think they've changed my view of myself.

Yes, Megan, I never felt disabled until the expectations of others affected me. I know what it is to burn out and stop doing what I once did. Find that balance. It's critical as you age.

Can you show us in a video how you make the notebook collages that you make so that we can perhaps get creative and make some on our own for our planners? Ex: Software and what you search for when looking for images online. I do understand some images are your own but maybe you have shared this at some point how you create them generally. I dont have a set routine. I stopped using a planner. I let things that arent scheduled happen when they happen. That said, i am much like you when minor things go wrong. Last week my dryer stopped working on my husband’s birthday. We are still trying to get it repaired. It has made me frantic and exhausted. Today i am not doing anything but playing animal crossing. I love these videos because youre not talking a million miles an hour and theyre quiet. I hope Wednesday is ok.

Been watching your videos back to back to pass the time till you uploaded. To be fair, your videos are such a comfort that i watch like two/three at least every day. Especially when working in my journal. Also, a question, ive switched to Field Notes for my daily writing as they are so portable and i really love them so far, bit did you also struggle with filling them up kinda fast? i ordered my usual size (uk 5, us 7) and i literally can’t straighten my foot in them lol. returning the whole parcel unfortunately. also found out the company (dollskill, not delias) is terrible, so i wont reorder. the shoes seemed really good quality and they looked great, but 100% size up if you get them

IDK why but I love that fuzzy pumpkin. A few weeks ago you asked for scary movies and I forgot to mention one. If you haven't seen it (2015) The Witch. Robert Eggers directorial debut and I think it is one of the best horror films ever made. I'm a burger though so maybe it won't resonate w/ you as much, but it's like a classic New England scary story. They speak an older form of english so lots of thee's and thou's.

I’m sure you were probably unaware, but dollskill is a super unethical company. They’ve sold stuff with straight up racist and ableist sayings on it and are pro-cop, among other things. Just thought you should know, since you don’t seem like the type of person to want to support a company like that.

I’m so glad Wednesday is doing better 💗 I really get what you’re going through and I hope things get better. Remember to be patient and compassionate towards yourself, you are trying and that’s what matters.🤍 For me it’s feels like the more I try to get things back to normal the more I fail. So now I’m just focusing to get the basic things right, like my sleep and study sessions. I’m exhausted but I can’t give up.
