As a New Zealander, here is a way to escape the Black Sheep tech: Black Sheep - > Under the Mountain, which has Sam Neil, so you're free. Alternative gambits: Taika Waititi -> Boy, which stars James Rollesten, from there you could strand them in the 2016 film the Rehearsal, an adaption of Eleanor Catton's novel. (If anyone can escape the Rehearsal, they deserve to win).

You could also exhaust their Julian Dennison with Wilderpeople and Deadpool 2, then hit them with Uproar (which just came out this year and it's apparently fantastic) Uproar gives you a Rhys Darby escape hatch (Jumanji), or you can take them to the Eleanor Catton zone once more via James Rolleston.

Possible Rehearsal escape tech (I don't know if these movies are popular enough to be in the database) The rehearsal -> the changeover, which stars Nicholas Gaultzine (I only know this because he had lunch with me and my drama class when it was filming). Nicholas Gaultzine gives you a bunch of obscure streaming titles to kill with, or use Thomasin Mckenzie as another escape route (or a method for Playmobil%)
