I was initiated and in Kriya Yoga in 2001 by the French Swami Sarveshwarananda and then by Paramahansa Hariharananda. By the Grace of them I began concentrate in the fontanell and to hear the inner sound and vibration very quickly and my life changed drastically. My doctor insistes that what I have is tinnitus and prescribes MRI and all kind of test finding absolutely any abnormalities in my inner ears. For me this inner vibration is like the Holy Spirit or comforter that bring me love and peace in the mist of my daily life routine

The techniques of Kriya can be found partly or wholly online. Even Hariharandaji mentioned some in his talks. You can practice Hatha Yoga and Pranayama. For me initiation into Kriya yoga is not about the techniques, but about the connection that is created with the help and grace of a true Guru. The initiation will bring about change and calming the mind becomes much easier.

Thus Babaji was the first guru in the lineage of kriya yoga. His disciple, Lahiri Mahasaya, passed the knowledge to his eldest son Tinkori Lahiri Mahasaya, who, in his turn, to his son Satyacharan Lahiri Mahasaya, and he - to Shailendra Sharma. Kriya yoga is an ancient practice of yoga the knowledge of which was lost in the Middle Ages and resumed in XIX century due to Babaji Maharaj. Lots of miracles, including that he defeated death, are connected with his name. Babaji appeared to Lahiri Mahasaya in the hills of Himalayas in 1861. He taught him the forgotten knowledge of kriya yoga and told to spread it all over the world. This meeting is described in the book of Paramahansa Yogananda Autobiography of a Yogi (1946).

If I were there I would ask what the short breaths at the top of the head are he talked about are and why they should be short given physical breaths are limited in our life. In my humble opinion I think the short breath he is talking about is more like a symptom of being in a higher state of consciousness....I don't think he is saying that you need to have a very short breath in Kriya Yoga meditation

I noticed that in this video this teacher/guru always refers to the crown of head as the main focus for meditation/God realization. But on the works of Yoganadaji I mainly encountered so far reference to focusing on the point between the eyebrows. Anybody able to clarify this? Thank you. ✨🙏🏼✨🌟

I have a couple of questions about the execution of the exercise: 1. He mentions, the bow, the short breath from 2-4 mins and I want to know what is the order of these steps? Do we bow first and then the breathing comes, or do we bow after the breathing is done? 2. In another video he mentions "1, 2, 3, inhale and 1, 2, 3, exale", while here in this video he mentiones "Short breath - one, two..". Does with the "1, 2, 3," he refers to seconds, and with the "1, 2" refering to it as an inhale-exale interval followed by a small pause, or it can be done both ways? 3. At which stage do we do the breathing? Is it with almost full filled, half filled or empty lungs? 4. Are the eyes turned upwards? The main question is how the full exercise is executed right an in the right order? I would really appreciate if someone confirms this.

U have to go n learn directly from a guru who teaches Kriya Yoga. The guru has to initiate u into the process, and teach u verbally all steps in the kriya yoga process, and also provide u a guru mantra (optional). Plz do not try to watch KZbin n practise kriya yoga from KZbin. It could do more harm than good. Always practise from a guru.
