The best part of this scene is what it says about Stark. Not once does he say "I." It's always "we." When he runs down the list of Avengers, he doesn't even mention himself. And then, when he's suited up and says "There's one more guy you pissed off," and you expect him to finally mention himself, he says: "His name was Phil." Joss did an excellent job of showing how Tony Stark has changed. It's not all about him anymore; he's part of something bigger than himself, and he accepts it.

Icecold Gaming the power gem gives the holder immense str and durability. As long as you're wearing it, you're "using it". Thanos had the power gem while he was fighting the Hulk. Get it? Think back to when Ronan had the Power Gem. He got hit by a moon destroyer (really a portable death Star) in Gotg vol 1 by Drax. He survived because he was wielding it Nonetheless of the Gotg vol 1 example, as long as you're holding the gem, you gain its powers. Its not as simple as seeing that the purple gem gets lit up and voila, you're using it lol 😂

I like Ultron and all, but it feels like he was _just_ the villain, serving little purpose other than to be a threat for the heroes to stop. Loki's a much more interesting and complex character, and I do love me some complex characters.

Ultron needed to be not just a big thread that the Avengers, rarely had the chance to stop but also a villian who tried to give a messeage to the Avengers, as well as the people in the theatre. The Incredibles had a better villian that has a similar concept and THAT WAS A KIDS MOVIE. (I know referencing Disney out of nowhere sounds weird but that's what should have been done). Ultron could have done the same thing as Syndrome from that animation. To show the Avengers, that they are nothing more than other people. They just got their powers and are using them to their advantage. This is where Tony could have also had a more useful place in the movie (other than just creating the threat) as he is the only Avenger who actually worked to get his suit. He could have been the one to defeat Ultron, as the creator since he would know the weak spots.

+stilltainted922 I always liked that too! That is what makes the "there is one other person you pissed off"-sequence so meaningful. Everyone thinks he is going to proclame himself because he just had that epic entrance and, duuh, Iron Man, but instead he blows Loki away in the name of Phil, an agent whose dedicated life Loki has ended far too early. This shows the character developement of Tony Stark: he doesn't fight all for himself, to look cool or because he is personally affected and angry, he fights for a reason. For the others. People he wants to protect, and people he wishes he could have protected.

"I have an army." Hell yeah baby! I love both these guys. Some actors fit perfectly as certain characters and these two are all kinds of awesome as Tony and Loki. They're both good looking guys and their personalities fit the characters. I've seen the clip where Tom (Loki) crashes San Diego Comic Con as Loki when Marvel was announcing Thor 2 and it looked like he had so much fun.

Tom Hiddleston said he watched the first Avengers movie before they started to film Thor: Ragnarok. He obviously got few things from that, like when the Grandmaster said something like you're his (Thor's) brother, to which he replies "adopted", and when he said "that's how it feels", when Hulk was smashing Thor against the ground. And of course "we have a Hulk" for the Infinity War.
