It makes a lot of sense to instead have assets AKA properties and have your money tied into accounts making you even more money, with only a fraction set aside for spending. Saving accounts might be gone with the doggo as they says for investments but you still should have 6 to 12 months lined up in there for instances like these. Your insurances isn't going to cover everything and even if they do you'll be waiting weeks at best.

If anything happens to my appartment, the Housing limited company, which most apartments are in here, pays for it or the insurance pays for it. It goes up and down with the stock market. He has a high net worth but can't do much with it. As opposed to the Queen of England who has a high net worth but not much of it is liquid.

Yes, a large portion is liquid. But, economies are far more complex than liquid assets can be liquidated quickly. If Bezos decided to get out of Amazon, he'd have to do it over a long period of time, else he'd crash the price and cripple one of the largest employers in the country. It's easy and quick to sell shares, but it has catastrophic consequences.
